Really nice people and knowledgeable. Got my car repaired quickly and back to me in a day. I would highly recommend them to everyone who needs a hybrid repair.

Affordable Hybrid Repair was a great fit for me. After too many bad (and expensive) dealership experiences, where I was told things like "we don’t know how to fix that" or watched my car come back worse (dealer let high school kids work on it), I was done with dealers. These folks restored my faith in mechanics. They repaired the radiator on my older Lexus hybrid and went the extra mile: took it for a proper test drive, checked diagnostics, inspected the brakes, replaced the coolant and carefully bled the system so there was no air in the line. They even sourced new motors and fan blades and made a custom modification since the exact part wasn't orderable anymore (which many mechanics will not do for any reason even with your permission), and now it looks and sounds like new. The awful fan noise is gone, the car drives much smoother, and it honestly feels like a newer vehicle. I'm not embarrassed to be driving it anymore. This is a family-owned shop with modern, responsive service. They text with customers (super convenient), and while the shop is a little off the interstate, the slow country drive is kind of worth it. They don't make excuses; they get the work done, even when it requires extra effort. When my parts ended up costing more than estimated, they proactively offered a discount which blew my mind in this economy. That kind of integrity and customer service is rare these days. They answered several questions outside the original scope, took the time to do the job right, and were friendly in every interaction. I even overheard them going above and beyond for another customer. Pricing felt extremely reasonable and not predatory. Bonus: their cute little helper came out with grandma to greet us: a little shy, but adorable. You can tell they have a real passion for automotive repair, and it shows.

Affordable Hybrid Repair of Tampa Bay repaired our Prius V in the time frame and price they quoted for the repairs required after another company replaced our battery. Paul was personable and professional. We will defiantly call them again should we have problems with our cars in the future.

I have been having a problem with my 2008 prius air conditioning blowing hot and then after about twenty minutes to cool off it would start blowing cool again. I had it into the dealer and they said unless it was having the problem at the time they couldn't do anything. I saw Affordable Hybrid Repair on the internet and decided it was worth driving over an hour to get a second opinion. As luck would have it, 20 miles from their repair place my car threw the big red triangle with the (!) In it. I called Paul at Affordable Hybrid repair and asked him if I could continue driving the car. He told me it was okay to continue driving and he would check it out when I got there. As soon as I opened my door Paul told me I needed a new Inverter coolant pump. He had the part at his shop and replaced it for me in 1 hour. I have had no issues with my a/c since I left him. Do not hesitate to use this company if you have a hybrid car. Excellent!!!
