Austin Hybrid Battery

I had a rebuilt hybrid battery installed 2 months ago, in my Lexus. They came to my house. It was a third of the price that Lexus wanted to charge. They back it up with a 3 year warranty. The guy, Peter, who rebuilds is super nice and explains everything. I recommend this company. They have saved me from having to get another car.

I had a great experience with Austin Hybrid Battery service. The technician came directly to my location, which was super convenient. The service was fast and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly explained what was wrong, and walked me through the solution. I really appreciated their professionalism and transparency. Not only was the customer service excellent, but the price was affordable and came with a 3-year warranty, which gives me extra peace of mind. DO NOT PURCHASE A HYBRID BATTERY HERE! All of the five star reviews are from people who just purchased their battery and are unaware. They say the battery will last 5 years but it will only last you 2 years! I spent $1,150 on this refurbished battery and my red triangle of death came on last month. They said because I’m one month past my 2 year warranty, I would have to buy a new one. This is a scam company that rebuilds used batteries that will last you a few years. They lie and say their batteries will last 5 years and come up with mechanical reasons (lies) why the battery slowly died. The fifth block has the lowest resistance compared to the others is what my mechanic said. My mechanic said not to buy a refurbished hybrid battery because they con people saying they will last longer but only last a few years. This is bad business that they are lying to their customers. Go with a reliable hybrid battery that is not refurbished and known to fail.

Austin Hybrid Battery was AWESOME to work with. After I was able to speak with them, John made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen, what I needed to have ready, and when they would arrive. (How epic that they would come 2 hours from Austin and do it at our home) It all went off without a hitch and my 2007 Prius runs like a dream once more. It couldn't have been done better, thank you SO MUCH. 100% recommend.

Austin Hybrid Battery arrived on location of my broken down 2007 Prius within 24 hours of my phone call on a weekend. A master technician confirmed it was the hybrid battery as the source of the problem. The replacement battery I received was thoroughly reconditioned, product tested, installed, and warranted for 2 years! The replacement battery took less than 2 hours to install and the technician also test drove the car with me. The technician was extremely knowledgeable about the Prius and answered all my questions as I watched the install. I saved thousands of dollars over taking it to the Toyota dealership or hundreds of dollars over trying to install a battery myself. I highly recommend this company!
