Grateful to Greentec Auto and specifically Nolan (in Minneapolis) for providing me with a quality diagnostic and subsequent exchange of my failed high voltage battery only four days later. Very pleased with the refurbished battery installed on site. Excellent technical and mobile service. This grandma needed to get back on the road in my Kia Optima Hybrid EX that I enjoy so much. Here’s the only photo I snapped of the old battery while the new refurb was going in.

Total incompetence from top to bottom. Needed a Tesla HV Battery for my 2014 S. I wanted this experience to be good, given the number of Tesla's that will be needing batteries in the not-too-distant future. As a result, I gave Green Tec a lot of slack. It was not deserved. They quoted a 100kw battery for the price that Tesla would provide a 85Kw. I was told "We do this all the time." I paid a $1,000 down payment and was then informed that it would take 2-3 weeks. This is my only car, and they do not provide loaners. After 3 week, I was told it would be another 2 week! I found out that the shop did not even have a lift to do the job yet. A week later, I check on progress and was texted that the battery was ready to go, but he still needed the lift, which would come that weekend. And the battery would be installed over the weekend. The weekend came and went, no update. The next Friday I realize that I have the Key for the car (since it was towed in) and text the shop that I will bring it in. When I get there a Russian-speaking (not English-speaking) person is installing the lift. No Big Deal, except this was the guy who was supposed to bring my Battery and install it once the lift was working. He did not bring the battery and had no idea that he was suppose to. After a fair amount of Google translate, it was determined that the headquarters in KC might have a 100Kw battery. It was not ready as promised 3 weeks earlier. It was not even ordered. I asked the local mechanic who was going to install and he said he was. Yet it was just that morning that he laid eyes on his first Tesla battery! Speaking of the Battery. The Russian had delivered a 85kW battery for a different client's car. This person had been waiting as long as I had. The battery was not sealed. My battery had shorted because water had entered the battery chamber (according to the lead mechanic at Tesla). The battery being installed in a client's car at Auto Tec was not even close to being water-tight. There were gaps and holes in the plastic cover. Duck tap over two other openings. It looked like what a 16-year-old neighbor kid would have done before researching what to really do. 3 Days later, 7 weeks since I place the order, I canceled the order and asked for my $1000 back. During this process, I requested to speak with management three times. Once to National Customer Service and twice to the local shop. I was told I could not be given that information. After my order was canceled, a sales manager called me back. He may have said 'sorry' in passing, but I couldn't remember it after the conversation. Instead, I spent 20 minutes with him as he drilled me with questions for improving the company. I even followed up by copying him on several texts that included promises that had been broken. He said he would get back to me and 5 days later did. leaving a voicemail insisting that ALL problems had been fixed. He insisted the Battery I saw was sealed. And said that he would agree to the refund if I asked, which I already had. I am giving 2 stars because they returned my money and got me in the habit of riding my bike all summer.

I got my 2010 Toyota Camry hybrid looked at today by Mike. He was absolutely amazing! He was able to diagnose everything and explain everything to me and answer all my questions and showed me how to fix a few problems and also teach me about my car and hybrid system today. He truly went above and beyond. What a great company especially if you own a hybrid!
