Friendly staff! They checked my battery free of charge. I ended up not needing anything, but I appreciated their willingness to help me. I will definitely go to them if I need a new battery.

I called 4 local businesses for info on getting a battery for my dead car. One didn't answer the phone for 15 rings. The next told me walk-ins could expect a 3 hour wait for install. The third one told me I need an appointment. Then I called Interstate. While explaining my situation to the person on the phone, I hear in the background, "Hey (name), did you take care of that lady?" And an answer, "Yes. She is good to go." Well, that's where I went. 20 minutes from walk-in to "please take my money". Your mileage may vary. Cool peeps Good service Good product Maybe I caught them on a really good day, but I think they have a lot of good days. They dealt with the vehicle and this stressed out customer very well. Odd comment: Staff seemed to appreciate each other. You don't get that everywhere.

In my experience, this shop is quick and easy. While they might not be the lowest price you can find, they stand by their products, and the one time I had to take advantage of their 1yr warranty, it was fast and painless. The current car battery I have (from them) is going on 4 years, and was recently tested by them and given the all-clear…they were honest about it and didn’t try to over-sell me on a new battery. Appreciate being able to trust them with my machine battery needs.

Went to Interstate Battery in Ames for car battery issues, she was able to diagnose, recommend and replace my batteries in under an hour. I was appreciative of her quick and very satisfactory work!

Took my Buick in to get a battery replaced, worried they would be too busy or not have a matching battery as I drive an older car. Garrett helped me immediately upon arrival and had my battery changed, got me paid up, and on my way in just about 10 minutes. To say it was a good experience is an understatement. I will not take my car anywhere else for battery issues again.
