Rexx Battery of Decatur

A couple weeks ago was heading to Decatur and my battery light went on around Bloomington/Normal. At least made it here later on a Friday afternoon where they confirmed it was my alternator. They were kind to charge my battery some so I could have enough power to get it somewhere since they wouldn't be able to get to until the following week. Luckily my friend was able to repair so I didn't have to take time off work. Honest shop, and if I was in Decatur I would definitely use them if had ability to leave vehicle and stay longer.

I brought my battery in which was a Rex battery I bought last year. The man told me nothing was wrong with the battery. It needed charged. I told him that I've already charged a battery and it is still not working as it should. This battery is bad. He continues to tell me no it's not bad. It needs to stay here overnight. I let it stay there for 2 days. I went back and got it. They told me my battery was bad .Their batteries are trash. I get a Rex battery once a year for every vehicle I own that has a Rex battery in it. When I tell them at Rex that I need a battery once a year their batteries are trash. They tell me that all the vehicles I own with the Rex battery in it is something wrong with it. They don't know what they're talking about. Half the time up here. If you come into here they will just walk around you like you're not even standing there. They act like they don't even notice you. You have to say something then when you say something they get a attitude and get mad and start saying stuff under their breath. They are very unprofessional here. They need more training on how to treat customers and how to do their job. I will not be returning to Rex Battery for any purchases other than potentially a rebuilt alternator. I have found their batteries to be unreliable, and I have also had disappointing customer service experiences. Therefore, I would recommend considering alternative battery suppliers.

Amazing service! I was told by Pepboys that my alternator was bad. They were pressuring me to fix it with them, but I was told by a friend to go to Rexx instead. The guys at Rexx investigated the issue and let me know my "bad" alternator was working perfectly as is. They saved me SO much money and didn't charge me a dime for their expertise. I will be buying all future batteries from these guys! If you're looking for honesty, great customer service, and people who genuinely know what they're talking about, look no further.

I got my car jumpstarted and drove there and they pulled me right in. They had a battery installed in 10 minutes and it was cheaper than I could’ve bought a battery anywhere else and put it in myself. Highly recommended!
