Wayne's Auto Electric

I had both tail lights fail within a week of inspection so made some phone calls and everyone predicted it was a fuse or worse something to do with circuit or wiring. The Wayne’s technician called me 15 minutes after dropping off to say it was just the bulbs and charged me way less than anybody else here in Hawaii to change them. He could have hit me with a diagnostic fee but didn’t. So very honest and very competent- oh what a relief!

Our review of Wayne's Auto Electric. This is a long time business in Honolulu. It is located on a back street. There is room for four cars in the shop. Jared greeted us and this is the old style Japanese business if you know what I mean. I had a weak alternator. Which caused a lot of error lights on my dashboard. Jared evaluated the problem and fixed it in one day. Thank you Jared. The charge was $680 I guess that's average for today??? +Note (there is a elderly lady answering the phone. She is a little abrupt. And don't ask her anything about the technician service. She will tell you that she doesn't know anything about that. Be aware she can be little rude.) overall the service is slow. You'll probably have to leave your car there so find other transportation. Communication is a major problem here. They do not explain in detail what they are doing and what's wrong with your car. But they get the job done. You decide if you want to go back there? I originally only wanted to come in for a short circuit somewhere on my taillight that I just could not find/fix after trying for 4 days. He was able to fix my taillight, soldered new daytime running lights that had been broken off for months, and also fixed my blinker that was going too fast in just over an hour for an extremely good price. Could not be happier and would definitely recommend this place to anybody with electronic problems

I could not have had better service. speaking as someone from out of town who was stuck in a situation where I had no choice but to get things fixed in my daughter's car, they identified the issue and resolved it quickly and rather inexpensively. I could have easily been taken advantage of, and I was not. Thank you so much for the wonderful quick service.

This place obviously didn't want my money. After I was referred here from an outside source. I came in with a question and an older lady walked up to me with a bad attitude. I only wanted an estimate to replace my headlights. I don't think she spoke English well, but instead a tech assisted. They are very undermanned and don't have available customer parking, so instead I pulled into the garage instead. Worst 1st impression. I wouldn't come here again. 😵
