Woodhill Electric installed a standby generator for us 3 yrs ago. They made several site visits to determine best placement and to fully discuss my generator size requirements. It has worked beautifully since then. The office schedules my annual service every year. I highly recommend this knowledgeable, efficient and courteous team,

While I do think Travis and Lucas were great to deal with, the load shed relay has been a problem. It had to be replaced the first time there was an outage. It then needed to be replaced due to failing a second time. I was told by the tech that the Relay was known to be bad due to the serial but was still billed for labor and travel time (3 hours) When I called to report there was a problem with it yet again the woman in the office immediately started to tell me "There must be something wrong with your dryer or the breaker box" Funny, there was never a problem with it in the past before they worked on the panel box. Well, the module has been replaced and the same dryer and breaker are working. They also charged travel time (they did not when they did the install. If we are too far from you then don't take the job). Just be aware of this.

My Generac stopped working during a recent power outage. I called Woodhill which is out of Ray Book, NY. Missy, who answered the phone and scheduled service calls, was polite, friendly, extremely helpful, and informed me they have an individual who lives in the area that works for them. I was ecstatic to finally find someone in St. Lawrence County that services Generac. Tom, who serviced my Generac, was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and answered all my questions in a way that I could understand. I would highly recommend this business.

Our generator malfunctioned and would not do the automatic weekly test run. I left a message with Woodhill and got a call back from Lucas that afternoon. He was professional, polite, friendly and very competent. He patiently talked me through trouble shooting and re-starting the generator and saved me the price of a service call Very much appreciated. We are so fortunate and blessed to have purchased our Generac from Woodhill Electric. There customer service far exceeds our expectations. They come annually and test the unit to ensure it is operating effectively without having to actually schedule it......they just come and do the maintenance efficiently. Now they have a process in place to pay them promptly which is extremely user friendly. This company goes above and beyond. We will forever be grateful for giving us the peace of mind of our Generac.
