If you want a place claims to have fixed something, but it’s not fixed, and they don’t pick up the phone after you call, go here. Seriously, the service is terrible for the cost of the repairs.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Tesla Collision. After my vehicle was repaired, I expected it to be returned in the same condition it was in before the accident. Instead, I found myself making multiple trips back because of issues that should have been caught before delivery. The rear bumper was misaligned, interior trim pieces were loose, bumper paint does not match the rest of the vehicle, and the rear door/window trim had to be readjusted. Even after bringing the car back for corrections, some of the same issues either returned or were never fully resolved. To make matters worse, people I speak with over Bluetooth now regularly tell me I sound robotic, a problem that never existed before the repair. It’s difficult not to wonder whether something was affected during the repair process. The overall quality control was simply unacceptable. Every time I thought the vehicle was finally fixed, I found another issue that required additional appointments and more time away from work. No customer should have to inspect a repaired vehicle this closely or repeatedly return to have basic fit and finish corrected. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into weeks of frustration. I expected factory-quality workmanship from a Tesla-certified collision center, but my experience fell well short of that standard. I hope Tesla Collision takes quality control more seriously so future customers don’t have to go through the same experience.

My experience with Tesla Collision North Hollywood has been unacceptable. Tesla had my vehicle for 33 days. Communication was inconsistent, incomplete, and often unanswered. I repeatedly had to chase updates, and basic questions about the repair, insurance handling, pickup, service coordination, and deductible were not clearly addressed in writing. I now have my vehicle back, but it has been back in my possession for more than two days and is still stuck in service/repair mode in the Tesla app. This restricts normal owner controls and prevents me from scheduling service normally, even though I was advised to make additional service appointments. There are unresolved functional issues. My rear passenger door opened before a tow and later would not open. My glovebox no longer sits flush after previously being repaired under warranty. My rear passenger window previously went down, but now appears locked from the driver-side controls. My vehicle also sat on the lot in North Hollywood / Valley heat, in direct sun, during 85–90+ degree temperatures. A week before pickup, I showed up intending to take possession and charge it myself, only to find it had finally been charged. The collision manager, Matt, was already gone, Daniel was no help, and there had been no meaningful communication, phone calls, or answers in the app. The loaner also raised safety concerns. It appeared to have gone more than 19,000 miles without a tire rotation. Carlos in Collision, who handled rentals, was the only decent employee I dealt with there. I also had positive interactions with two sales employees during a Cybertruck test drive and one service-side employee whose name I do not remember. But as an operation, this location does not seem to know what the left hand or right hand is doing. Estimator / adjuster Matt Garcia was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in messages. Separately, on the insurance side, Jacquelyn Cook and Tommy Pham dismissed or denied functional vehicle concerns as unrelated or “normal wear and tear” without a clear factual explanation matching the vehicle’s condition, mileage, and timeline. I paid approximately $45,000 for this vehicle, kept it at roughly 14,000 miles over more than three years, and paid over $15,000 in full-coverage insurance. I do not expect functional issues to be brushed aside without clear written accountability. I will be switching insurance carriers and filing complaints with the California Department of Insurance and appropriate consumer protection agencies. I encourage others with similar experiences to document everything. I would not recommend Tesla Collision North Hollywood. Documentation, communication, accountability, vehicle care, and basic customer respect were all lacking.

Avoid this location at all costs. Multiple times, I went to pick up my car when they said it was ready and discovered things that were not completed (license plate not attached, seatbelts floating and unattached to anything, mechanisms not working, etc.) I had to chase them to respond to insurance, so much so that the insurance company was sending me screenshots of their attempts to get a hold of these people. My rear window was damaged in the accident (or while in Tesla's care, it is unclear), and Tesla told insurance not to cover it, so I ended up paying for a replacement elsewhere myself. They kept my Tesla key card and did not respond to messages or calls to try to retrieve it. Ended up having to purchase a replacement myself. To top it off, literally MONTHS later, they charged me for repair costs which I had tried to pay for immediately after repairs. This is because they charge a higher hourly rate for service than most insurance companies are willing to pay. If I were in a situation where I did not have the funds ready/available, it could have really caused an issue for me. Do. Not. Go. Here.
