Aqualux Auto Spa - Hand Car Wash, Detailing, Tints, Ceramic Coating, Paint Protection Film

I drove my Mercedes GLE SUV 8 hours from Kansas City to Chicago, so by the time I got here my car was covered in bugs and road grime. I’m pretty meticulous about my car and try to hand wash it myself weekly—I don’t use automatic car washes. I didn’t bring all of my detailing supplies on this trip, and I knew a touchless wash wasn’t going to get everything off, so I started looking for a local hand wash/detailer. I found Aqualux on Google and was able to easily book a same-day appointment—on a Sunday! Everyone was professional and friendly when I arrived, and the waiting area was great. They have a small putting area, ping pong, water, coffee (Lavazza, which is a major plus), and large windows where you can watch them work. As someone who genuinely enjoys detailing cars, I loved being able to watch them work on mine and the other cars. I went with the #3 wash, and in less than an hour they had cleaned both the interior and exterior. Was every tiny detail absolutely perfect? No, but for the price and turnaround time, I was extremely impressed. My car looks fantastic and is shining again after the long drive. I also asked about ceramic coating while I was there and really appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me. After looking at my paint, they told me it was already in excellent condition and that I didn’t need extensive paint correction. They explained that I could simply do an exterior wash with a clay bar add-on to prep it for coating instead. I really appreciated the honesty. Great experience overall, especially for the price, convenience, and quality. I’ll definitely be back while I’m in Chicago!

Brought my Acura in for paint correction and had a great experience. The team was professional, easy to work with, and did an awesome job. The paint came out looking much better, and the attention to detail really showed. Definitely recommend Aqualux and will be back for future work.

Took my car here for an exterior was and the experience was great! Friendly staff squeezed me in right before close for a quick and effective wash. Inside there are plenty of amenities to curb boredom during longer appointments. (Ping pong table and racing simulator … epic!) As seen in the pictures no swirly marks scratches during wash. Very well done and will be back over and over again!

Amazing quality and attention to detail! I truly appreciate the work they did. The wrapping service was flawless, and I’ve had both of my cars wrapped here. The results exceeded my expectations, and I absolutely love how they look. The team was professional, friendly, and took great care of my vehicles. Highly recommended!

I went to aqualux because I went to a different detailing place just 5 days prior, and let me just say aqualux did everything that the first place didn’t do! The employees at aqualux took their time, were very detail oriented, and super informative. I took my car in because I had a very bad coffee spill that wasn’t cleaned properly the first time, and they exceeded my expectations. They steamed cleaned my seats, and took priority in my concerns/ the problem areas. When I looked at my car once it was finished, it was like a brand new car and all of my concerns were addressed and fixed/clean. I will most definitely be going back for whenever my car needs a very good cleaning and detail. Ibrahim was very helpful and gave me a lot of insight about their process. 10/10 would recommend! Some of the photos show before the detail (from what the previous detailing place did) and some are after, and what Aqualux did. A complete difference for the better!
