Bay Area Detail | Ceramic Coatings and Paint Protection Film

Taylor at Bay Area Detail did an incredible job with the ceramic coating on my 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 5! The car looks amazingly shiny, and the hydrophobic quality is impressive. There was a brief rain shower this morning and the water beaded right off immediately. You can tell right away how passionate Taylor is about car detailing just by the way he talks about his craft. Highly recommend Bay Area Detail if you want your vehicle looking better than brand new!

Taylor’s team and services are simply the best because he has the highest standards. I found him based on recommendations from others in the Porsche community. Taylor thoroughly went through the car and patiently answered every question I had. After dropping it off, I received very thorough pictures of the blemishes he found and progress photos/videos. Not only was my 23yo paint restored to near perfect, the PPF was installed very well and they removed all the lights for a flawless installation. The edges were hand cut and adhered in all spots. He also fixed a few things on my car that I didn’t know about, like the tail light that was loose. Taylor is enthusiastic and happy to answers all questions, you don’t feel like an annoyance when you bring new things up. I went to a couple different shops before finding Taylor and got the feeling that they didn’t really care about the car and just wanted to get me in and out. They also seemed annoyed about my questions. Taylor is a gem and absolutely recommend him to anyone with any car. Update 7/2026- I had Taylor’s shop Tint the windows in my Cayenne. We’ve had at least 8 cars tinted elsewhere over the years and none compare to the work we received from Taylor’s shop. They use the highest quality Xpel film and we can’t find one bubble or spec of dust under the film. Highly recommend, worth every penny.

Bay Area Detail does a great job for the their stage 2. Taylor and his team, including Matt, did multiple passes to get the break dust off my rims from my track pads. The detail is immaculate, and it’s not just shiny spray. I definitely will be back soon. This is the best place in California for car detailing, PPF, and ceramic.

I had an incredible experience with Bay Area Detail! Taylor and the team polished my new Tesla Model Y and applied the ceramic coating, and the results are stunning. The car looks better than ever, with a flawless shine. Professional, efficient, and highly skilled—highly recommend!

Taylor did an amazing job detailing my Porsche GT4. I had severe scratching and swirls from previous owner neglecting the paint over the years. He spent over 12 hours washing/polishing/buffing/coating the entire car. I am extremely pleased with the results. I’m very particular on where I take my cars and I have full confidence in Taylor’s ability to detail any car. He was a referral from two good friends that trusted his work which lead me to learning more about his process and trust with my car. Would recommend!
