So happy I found these guys! They did a terrific job on my car (2026 Toyota Corolla). I knew coming in that this was not exactly the most luxurious car they’ve ever done but they treated me and my car with the same level of care they would as if it were the highest end Ferrari. The PPF and the tint came out so good! These guys are the best.

I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand that no business is perfect and mistakes can happen. I also believe businesses should be given an opportunity to make things right before sharing a negative experience publicly. Unfortunately, after giving Black Diamond that opportunity, I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before trusting them with their vehicle. On July 10, I paid $350 to have XPEL XR Black ceramic window tint installed on my brand-new Hyundai Elantra. After more than two weeks, I continued to notice clusters of small bubbles on two of the passenger windows. I returned to the shop on July 27, and they confirmed that those two windows were not acceptable and needed to be redone under their warranty. While I appreciated that they honored the warranty, it was still an inconvenience because I had to take time out of my day to return due to the original installation not being done correctly. What surprised me even more was that the original installation of all five windows took about two hours, yet redoing only two windows required my vehicle to remain at the shop for nearly the entire day. When I picked up my vehicle, I immediately noticed a scratch on the inside of the front passenger door. Before leaving the parking lot, I brought it to the attention of the employees because my vehicle is only a few weeks old, I am the primary driver, and I take exceptional care of it. Instead of feeling that my concern was acknowledged, I felt like I had to defend myself. I was told they did not believe the scratch could have happened while my vehicle was in their care, which was very discouraging to hear. To their credit, they did offer complimentary services in an attempt to make up for the situation, and I respectfully declined. By that point, my concern was no longer about receiving something for free. It was about trust. After returning because the original tint installation had to be redone and then discovering a scratch on my vehicle afterward, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my car in their care again. I want to be very clear that I was never asking for a refund, compensation, or free services. What I wanted was much simpler than that. I wanted my concern to be acknowledged, investigated, and taken seriously. As a customer, I believe I deserved that. The owner later called me to discuss my concerns and mentioned that he was going to review the security camera footage. Because of that conversation, I chose to wait 24 hours before posting this review, hoping to hear the outcome of that review or receive some follow-up. As of the time I am writing this review, I have not received any additional communication. What disappointed me the most wasn’t only the quality issue with the original tint installation or the scratch I discovered afterward. It was the overall customer service. Accidents can happen in any business, and I understand that. What builds customer trust is honesty, communication, empathy, and a willingness to genuinely listen when a customer raises a legitimate concern. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed rather than heard. I chose Black Diamond because of their excellent online reputation, which is why this experience was so surprising. I truly hope no one else has the same experience I did, especially if they are bringing in a new vehicle that they have worked hard to purchase. My recommendation is to thoroughly inspect your vehicle before and after any work is performed and make sure you are completely satisfied before leaving the shop. I genuinely wish I could leave a more positive review. Unfortunately, based on my overall experience, from the original installation, to the warranty visit, to how my concerns were handled afterward, I cannot recommend this business.

Additionally, ceramic tint was applied to all windows and the windshield for enhanced heat protection. Upon taking delivery of my new Raptor R, I promptly contacted Jorge to obtain a quote and arrange for these services. They were able to accommodate my vehicle immediately, and it was returned within the promised timeframe. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

I chose to upgrade only where I wanted, and they respected that. The team is personable, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about their customers. They communicate well, move quickly without cutting corners, and deliver a phenomenal overall experience. It’s rare these days to find a shop that balances skill, honesty, and customer service so well. I’d absolutely recommend Black Diamond PPF & Tint to anyone who values quality and peace of mind. I’ll be bringing my other vehicles here without hesitation.
