Block A Chip - Since 2003 - paint protection film experts

I did a lot of research on products and installers and Block-a-Chip certainly stood out. Being in business since 2003 was a key. I also wanted XPEL products and they are one of the outstanding XPEL dealers. I met with John at a Porsche Beachwood cars and coffee. He was able to look at my car and gave me an instant quote. I have a 2016 911 Targa which had full front PPF installed in 2016. It got to the point where it needed to be removed. Based the their experience with Porsche and PPF I trusted them to do the job. I had new PPF installed on the front, two-stage paint correction on the rest of the car, and ceramic applied to the whole car. I also had XPEL ceramic tint applied to all the windows. The work was impeccable and the car looks outstanding, possibly better than showroom condition. I also was able to meet Albert, the owner, while picking up the car. Attention to detail throughout the process was excellent. Communication between John and myself was on point. I never had to wait long for a response from John when needed. I plan on taking another car soon. Very highly recommended.

I bought a new Genesis GV70 in November of last year and immediately started looking into PPF and ceramic for it. Block A Chip was a clear front runner for me because of not only their incredible experience and reputation, but also because they took the most time to answer all of my questions and were always happy to do so! I first spoke with John in November and didn’t end up moving forward with services until March. Any time I had any questions (which there were many!) throughout those 4 months, John was always quick to get back to me and always answered in great detail! I was never once made to feel like I was bothering him. As someone who has never done this before, that was invaluable to me! I ended up getting PPF on the full front of the vehicle, the a pillars, roof strip, and the rocker panels, as well as a full ceramic coat on the exterior and interior. The work done was impeccable! I was even sent a few updates during the 4 days the work was being done. Albert met me the day I picked up my vehicle and he also took his time to answer all of my questions, including the ones I had about possible future projects. I’ve been obsessed with amazing cars since my childhood (my dad has many street racing stories from his childhood in Detroit), and I’ve had the best pleasure of having Albert and his team do full paint color correction, ceramic coating and clear film applications on two Mustangs (one a fresh Mach 1 straight from the factory) and a brand new Toyota Tacoma. Each interaction has been incredible. Excellent service, patience with questions and requests, and quality that lasts far beyond what I could have ever expected! I have brought a dozen vehicles to blockachip over the last several years. I would not trust my vehicles PPF to anyone else. Their attention to detail and customer service when something needs to be fixed is great. The most challenging vehicles I gave them to wrap are my 2026 Class A Motorcoach and matching Stacker trailer. I think its one of the largest projects they have done. My only complaint was it the 45 ft motorcoach and 23ft trailer took longer than expected which pushed us into snow / ice season and trashed the perfect PPF job in five minutes on the road. However, the project was much more extensive than any of us anticipated. The PPF and ceramic made it easy to clean when we got to our warm destination. I am definitely a customer for life!
