Auto Electric and Fuel LLC

Carlos is the best. He did a fantastic job on a very complicated repair to my 1989 pickup after an engine compartment fire. I depend on the pickup to make a living, so it was discouraging to discover that the majority of the local repair shops were disinclined to even look the old vehicle, and the one shop that said they would did nothing to it for over a month except complain about how difficult parts were to find, and make statements about how the truck might be unrepairable. It was quite frustrating. I started looking around gif another shop. Then, I found Auto Electric & Fuel, and everything changed. Carlos was confident and capable and made the whole process easy. He dealt with the insurance company, located all the correct parts and fixed myriad problems with numerous damaged vehicle systems. When I had questions, he took the time to patiently explain steps of the process of getting the truck back on the road. And I’m not suggesting that Auto Electric & Fuel is only a resource for particularly difficult jobs. I will be taking any of my vehicles that he’is willing to work on to Carlos from now on. His can-do attitude, professional demeanor and attention to detail distinguish his shop from the many options available. So if your’re looking for a capable, honest mechanic (and who isn’t, from time to time?) I really can’t recommend this exceptional auto shop enough. -N. Pleasant Hill, CA

I recently purchased a 1962 Ford Econoline Van sight unseen. We knew it had an inoperable fuel gauge, so I brought it in to Carlos for this issue. Carlos and his team were super communicative and thorough and fortunately/unfortunately found a slew of other issues the van had...fuel pump, radiator, brake cylinders, electrical. They fixed a lot and did a great job making the van reliable and safe!

Carlos is an excellent, trustworthy person. Diagnostic is pricy. But the work and prices are very reasonable. Carlos did an excellent job on a difficult problem with my car. He goes out of his way to make sure that he narrows down the issue and fixes it. You will not be disappointed in the job well done. If you rely on your car and want quality work. Carlos is your guy. Highly recommend!!!!

I recently took my 2017 Ford Mustang GT to Carlos at Auto and Electric Fuel LLC in Concord for a problem with the door window motor, and I couldn't be more impressed. Carlos was extremely professional, honest, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained it to me clearly, and repaired it at a very reasonable price. The quality of his work and his attention to detail were outstanding. It’s hard to find someone you can trust with your car, but Carlos exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of auto repair services. I’ll definitely be returning to him for any future repairs!"

Carlos and crew rebuilt the engine in my 1970 Datsun Roadster after impressing me by resolving an electrical issue with the same vehicle. They are very thorough and communicative. They charge up front for a diagnostic and proceed only after getting your approval. I’m very pleased with their work and will continue to patronize in spite of the drive. Highly recommended.
