Auto Electric Specialties

Update 7/29/2026: New issue, alarm system now wearing out and acting 🤪 . If anyone can fix it or disable that darn thing, they can.... Bob to the rescue! 1996 Toyota Previa - They were honest and personable. As a woman with an old recreational vehicle, it's been difficult to find mechanics that are this talented. Bob knocked it out of the park. The price per hour is fair for their expertise. They spend less time diagnosing thus avoiding repairing things that are not the cause. For me, this is my third shop and fourth repair trying to fix a problem that has alluded everyone else. I wish I would've found them first. Honest and high experienced staff!

It's hard to find a place you can trust these days. I took my car in and they were so nice and listened to my concerns. By the time I got home they called me to tell me they were all done, and their price was very reasonable. If you are looking for a place you can trust Auto Electric Specialties is the place for you!!!

Good auto electrician close to Portland area. Not cheap, but the quality work is worth it. We brought in two older Jeeps and both were diagnosed/repaired professionally. Highly recommend.

Bless you, Terry After hearing from a shop I've been to for almost a decade "we've never seen this, it'll cost $1000+ to replace the whole part", Terry fixed it easy with skill, experience, and intuition, and saved me a hell of a lot of worry. Thank you Terry, I hope you get a whole cadre of young-gun apprentices to keep your skills in order and around for us all! Its all about the little details, because you'll never imagine what they can turn into.

I have such great things to say about this auto shop! We were from out of town and thought our trip was canceled, but Terry got us back on the road in an hour. He also let us know about multiple problems we had no idea about. When we got back on the road, I had so much peace of mind. I was so grateful they made time to even take a look at our car. They’re booked out for weeks, which just shows how trusted they are. If I lived in Portland, this would be my new mechanic! I’m so grateful for their quick help getting us back on the road. 100% recommend! Terry, we cannot thank you enough.
