Chelmsford Auto Electric - Starters, Alternators & Electric Motors

These guys are great they turned around my 37 Chevy starter in a few days. Highly recommend them

Chelmsford Auto Electric-Starters & Alternators provided outstanding service. They were fast, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. They helped me out in less than 24 hours and delivered great results exactly as promised. It’s hard to find shops that combine speed, quality work, and good customer service, but they absolutely nailed it. I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable electrical or starter work done.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!!! 👍💪🤞🙏💡💡⚡ Simply on the phone they were kind and extremely helpful and thorough in helping me figure out what the problem might be. When I arrive there the gentleman at the counter, Andrew I believe, was equally friendly, organized and helpful. Less than 5 minutes after I left he called me to give me an update that he could already see having looked a bit more closely at my motor. Then we discussed the options. This kind of service is unfortunately increasingly rare. I'm very grateful for having been referred to Chelmsford Auto electric ⚡💡🙏

Great service! I needed to have testing done on the 6-volt Bosch generator and regulator from my '65 Porsche 356. It was done while I waited, and fortunately no problems were found. I could not find any other shop who had any idea what to do with those components, so I drove almost two hours to CAE, and I'm glad I did. They were knowledgeable, and such a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic service! My 70 year old Delco generator was rebuilt to like new condition in just a few days and it now works perfectly. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Chelmsford Auto Electric.
