I called in today, had my call answered promptly and Jason was ready to order me in a motor and have it for me by tomorrow. Unfortunately we had to have it today, and so he was willing to direct me to someone that happen to have this random hood fan motor today. He remained helpful and will to serve even though I wasn’t going to be able to buy from him today. Cubby’s Electric Pump & Motor Repair will be the first place I go next time I am an need of help with a motor, and I highly recommend you do the same! Thanks so much for tremendous service!!

My first time at Cubby's for an irrigation pump repair. I went here because the place where I bought the pump, said they didn't work on the smaller horsepower pumps (they just sell them). The people at Cubby's there were courteous, very knowledgeable, and really helpful. They answered questions that needed answering, fixed my pump in record time, and got me back on line quickly. Definitely coming back should the need arise.

Definitely cannot recommend this shop. I was warned by others that they were awful, but thought I'd give them a try. I described that I was looking for a bushing that fits at the bottom of a motor for a submersible pump. The person on the phone argued that there was no way I had opened the motor, and when I explained that I'd taken the cap off the bottom of the motor (3 screws, pretty simple), he told me it was the pump and not the motor. (I wasn't even working on the pump, the pump wasn't attached or even near my workbench.) I took the motor in to show them, and the staff was hostile, rude, and said, "you won't find that bushing anywhere" without even looking at it. They then turned their back on me. It's one thing if you aren't familiar with what the person is describing, it's another to be unprofessional and hostile, and unwilling to admit you're wrong. I took the motor elsewhere, got excellent service, the bushing I needed, and some other questions answered. For professional, competent service, there are much better options in the area.

I needed just one little screw to fix my motor and Jason, the shop foreman, was very courteous and took the time to find it. Then, he very generously shared some great referral info for an electrician in the area that can be trusted and does emergency calls! I will definitely use this shop again!
