Electric Motor & Machine Co

Great company, Anthony was very helpful and helped me get pointed in the right direction, great guy and greater customer service

Needed help, went in, met the owner and employees, told them my situation, and they were all very friendly and polite. I can tell you, if you're gonna need any services these guys provide, then you NEED to go to them!

Their website says “full service” and they repair and have inventory of single phase electric motors up to 5 hp. I had a 1 1/8 hp electric motor from a Shopsmith that needed attention and gave them a call. They said they couldn’t help me because they only do industrial work. They couldn’t offer anymore advice other than to contact OM. A gave them a star just for answering the phone promptly.

I have had them rebuild several motors, two failed within 3 months. They refused to offer any warranty coverage. Yep, not even 50% ... Funny-sad that they responded Amity Oregon is California...

Eric and his wife were very helpful in troubleshooting an large air compressor motor. I was told the motor needs to be replace! Eric had me preform a few simple test and was able to determine it wasn’t the motor at all. Saved me a lot of money! Thank you Eric to you and your wife!
