My pool motor stopped working. It was only humming, so I thought I might change the capacitor first and see if that was the problem. I went to three other places before finally finding this place. They are the only supplier that had the capacitor I needed. It was also considerably cheaper than even the ones I priced online. The nice man up front told me how to tell if a capacitor was bad; he looked at my old one and explained how to tell, so I'd know for the future. He said just in case it's the motor as well, we do have those too, so you can call us back and we'll price it for you if need be. The two ladies up front were also kind and helpful. Really good people and in my experience, with what I needed, a great price. Highly recommend checking them out. I drove all the way from Dutch Fork and the ease of the transaction, politeness of the staff plus great pricing made it totally worth it.

Took my table saw motor to be repaired as it was still working but the capacitor was bad. Thought about repairing it myself but opted to have it repaired professionally to be safe so brought it there. Called a couple of times over a two week period and left messages but no response. Called yet again and talked with Bill who told me the motor was 'burned up'. I chose to pick it up and paid the $20 inspection fee. Purchased a capacitor for $11 and fixed it myself. Don't know if it's laziness or incompetence but it makes no difference. This place is a loser. This is not an angry post based on customer service or attitude, it's just the simple truth. Please don't waste your hard earned money, you'll regret it.

I brought in an 1.5 HP motor for an old table saw I’m restoring. The motor worked fine before I brought it in, I just asked them to go through it and double check that everything was in working order. Zero play in the bearings, and it ran smooth. 2 days later I call, and they say it’s shorted and won’t run. I brought them a working, fully together motor, and they gave me back a box with a disassembled motor in pieces. Bunch of clowns at this place. Take your business to City Electric Repair, it’s only 5 miles away and they actually fix motors instead of trying to sell you new stuff. Huge waste of my time and money. $25 charge to destroy and disassemble my motor. I could have done that for free in my garage and at least spent that 25 on some beer. Thanks for nothing.
