Greentec EV & Hybrid Battery Replacement | Chicago, IL

I highly recommend this shop! I came in for my scheduled hybrid battery replacement because I was convinced it needed to be replaced. I had even purchased a new 12V battery after being told at AutoZone that mine was bad. Instead of simply doing the job I had already booked, the technician took the time to test both batteries and honestly told me that neither one needed to be replaced right now. He could have easily charged me for a replacement I was already expecting to pay for, but instead he chose honesty. He explained the condition of my batteries, what I can expect going forward, and gave me advice that truly had my best interest in mind. He also found a couple of unrelated issues that I should have checked by a regular mechanic and pointed me in the right direction. It’s incredibly hard to find honest people these days. I truly believe God blessed me by leading me to this shop. I will recommend this place to all of my friends, and if I ever have another issue with my car, this will be the first place I call. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you for your honesty and exceptional service!

This was beyond convenient!! I didn't have to have the car towed or risk driving it. I didn't have to arrange a ride to go and pick it up when it was completed. Alexis came right to the house and my Prius' dead hybrid battery was repaired in less than 45 minutes!! I was able to get some work done outside and before I knew it the car was done! Alexis was very professional and let me know when he was leaving and even a 30 min warning before arrival. He was very kind and trustworthy. I have only let one man work on ALL of the vehicles I've ever owned and I was worried about allowing someone else work on my car but it was clear Alexis knew what he was doing and was able to answer the questions I had easily. I HIGHLY recommend Alexis and Greentec!! Wonderful experience!! Thank you for giving new life to my Prius!

The whole experience was very professional. Great price, easy scheduling, and on time! I live 2 hours from Chicago in South Bend- this was not a problem for them. The battery swap was super speedy. I couldn't believe how quick the process was. Mike was AWESOME!

GreenTec Chicago facility replaced my high voltage batteries in my 2014 Volt with a new battery pack and the all electric range is better than when new. They did a great job and in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

A great place to have your hybrid battery replaced. GreenTec has installed a battery that has the same range as when my A3 etron was new with a warranty. Ben did a great job keeping me updated on the process. The shop is super clean and has a lot of parts on hand. Really appreciate what they did and looking forward to using my car for several more years.
