James and the team at Konduit EV did a remarkable job performing a Coolant Delete on my 2013 Model S. We set things up via email, planned for a drop-off at 930 in morning and pick-up at 430 that same afternoon (I ended up spending a much needed relaxation day in beautiful Carlsbad!). They truly are subject matter experts who walked me through every step, and delivered top level service. And most importantly, all at an affordable price. They took great care of me and my vehicle, and I will definitely be going back for all my future service needs!

Konduit EV is the place to go for your electic vehicle repairs in SoCal. I randomly came across this independant EV shop looking for older Tesla fixes on their YouTubes videos. Lucky for me, they coindentially were in my neck of the woods. Since then, I've had my older Tesla S (out of dealer warranty) in their shop a couple times since the recent purchased. Every visit was met with a friendly, knowledgeable and skillful team to accurately diagnose, fix the issue(s) and get me back on the road again. And the price is right. First of all, Great to see and happy to support an up and coming Small Business, nice work! So i recently purchased a decently higher mileage Tesla Model x for a great price, it was recently out of warranty (most likely the reason for the sale) and being the Performance Model, i was at risk of the nefarious LDU failure, so wanting to protect my new to me Loan funded purchase, I quickly ran over to Konduit Ev and got the Coolant Delete on my Model X. Easy transaction, drop it off / pick it up and so far so good. They replaced my rear half shaft for me also, so a win-win. Konduit EV is a Fantastic and Professionally run shop. They were great communicators and kept me informed all along the way. they also sent me pictures of the work performed and were very friendly. As older Tesla's are coming onto the market "Post Warranty" there's a lot of "good" deals out there on various Tesla's, those that have with the Large Drive Unit LDU (Performance models and Rear Wheel Drive Units) will find out they will need the coolant delete. Thousands of these LDU's have been replaced under warranty with the same failure prone parts, so the "coolant delete" is the only cure to prevent catastrophic failure. Konduit has the replacement part that's needed, and it maintains most of the coolant pathing (it just bypasses the stator cooling, which will fail and is on the updated Tesla LDU's) They warranty their work for 3 months / unlimited miles and i couldn't be happier. EV Services, and specifically the LDU Stator Coolant bypass is a service all Tesla LDU owners should do if they can. it's 30% of the replacement cost, and prevents catastrophic failure of the major drive component so the motor can be repaired upon failure, not recycled. I have only the highest praise and gratitude to the guys at Konduit EV. MANY THANKS to their excellent coolant delete service and install on my precious 2013 Model S P85. James kept me informed on every step of the one day service which included a recommended Dextron gearbox oil change, 12 volt battery check and visual inspection. The speed sensor was showing early signs of moisture and contamination. I’ve been assured that the dreaded LDU failure has been averted and no further maintenance or repairs are required. These guys are expert at what they do and I cannot more highly recommend Konduit EV.

James from Konduit EV was very responsive to my email request for coolant delete service on my 2015 Tesla Model S. He took the time to answer all of my questions. I wanted to be proactive to avoid a large out of warranty failure of the drive unit. The quoting process was easy and convenient. I had full confidence he and his team would take care of my EV. Turned out, my EV did not actually need the service I was requesting because the rear drive unit was not the type at risk for coolant intrusion. James took the time to explain the history of my model and the motor combinations seen in those years. To my complete shock and surprise, he closed out the service request for no charge at all! On top of that, he had my car washed and vacuumed! What!?!?! Konduit EV has earned my business and I will be back!
