Same Day Electric

Searched Google for a Tesla Certified Electrician. Requested service quote, got a phone call from a call center. Appointment was set I was told. Between 10 - 12pm for July 14, 2026. Nothing. Never happened.

The technician who completed the work was great, but the office and billing experience was frustrating and unprofessional. There were repeated follow-ups about payment even after I had already explained that I had submitted it online and it was still processing. Despite being told it would take some time to clear, I continued receiving frequent calls and emails, including pressure about potential collections. There also seemed to be confusion on their end regarding the invoice/tax form process, which wasn’t properly sent or received at first and had to be resent through another method. Overall communication between departments felt disorganized, and the experience with customer service and management was not helpful or well coordinated. The constant pressure and lack of clarity made the process unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend this company based on the administrative experience, even though the field technician did a good job.

This was my third or so time using SDE and it will be my last. When I made the appointment I told them exactly what I wanted and asked to be sure that a "low profile, flush mount TV bracket" was on the truck. He assured me that it would. I double checked a second time and he told me "that the trucks are fully stocked." Well guess what, Justin arrived and had nothing on his truck. His truck was a disaster...he dug around and around, looking all over through the hundred things that were piled on the floor of the truck. Justin was at my house for 5.5 hours for two small, normal, average sort of tasks. He went back to his truck a dozen or more times throughout the day for things he didn't have with him. He looked in the front door of his truck. He looked in the back door of his truck. Over and over. He had to ask twice for another staff member to bring him supplies. And he left for 45 minutes himself to go and get things he didn't have. And then he hung the TV far up high on the wall with the plug and connection ports visible below the TV....it looked terrible, so unprofessional. I asked him why we hadn't had a conversation about the placement PRIOR to him drilling six holes in my wall. I asked him to lower it and he did -- except then he had to patch 6 holes in my brand new construction wall. And then the TV -- he handled the front face of the smart TV with his greasy hands -- a big giant no no. He seemed awkward and had nothing that he actually needed. He was unprepared when he arrived on my job site and he spent much of his time running back and forth. And still had recorrect his work with the TV hanging. Justin clearly doesn't meet the SDE standards that I've experienced in the past. Never again.

Jacob was awesome. He was early and understood and explained what he needed to do to accomplish the job. I will call Same Day again. Friendly service
