Tesla Akron - Fairlawn

Brought my Model 3 to the Akron service center to fix a superbottle issue and address underbody damage from a rough driveway. While they resolved the superbottle, they handled the splash shield terribly. It was partially hanging when I arrived, but instead of fixing it or leaving it be, they detached the other side so it was completely dragging while I drove away. When I brought up concerns regarding the service center's poor local reviews, the service advisor sitting on the left side of the desk dismissed them entirely, stating he didn't care because customers have to bring their cars here anyway. Very unprofessional attitude. Save yourself the headache and use a different Tesla service location.

I was really hoping for a great experience. A standard of customer service should not be based on what you spend, but for context, the cost of repairs was just under $5000. They requested the car for three days and subsequently had it for two days. What went well: Drop off/Pick up of loaner Automatic confirmation of services requested Initial communication via text with Justin Super manifold replaced Windshield replaced What was found upon after hours pick up: Headliner near windshield not reinstalled correctly/hanging down Windshield washer fluid feeder tubes not secured back into the wipers correctly Cap missing on front bumper with wires hanging out Cameras not realigned disabling some driving functions Despite reporting all issues the evening before, we still had not received a response by 9:45 the following morning. We contacted Justin and offered to return to have these things fixed. There were several missed opportunities to provide a positive customer service experience. No one apologized or offered a solution. Additionally, the windshield was left dirty on the inside and trash was left in the car. Due to the issues we found, it was evident that no quality assurance review was conducted upon finalizing the repairs.

I had a great experience at Tesla Service. My car was shaking at highway speeds, and Jake was able to get me in right away. The team quickly replaced the tire and performed a balance, resolving the issue efficiently. Everyone was very friendly and professional, and the service was impressively fast. The lounge area was also comfortable and a nice place to wait. Overall, excellent service—really appreciated how smooth and easy the whole experience was!

There are just so few problems with these cars. Mine was a simple front camera issue. App said 2 hours. I almost had time to fall asleep in the waiting area before I got the notification that it was done. Friendly efficient and got me out the door in 10 minutes.

They did an amazing job repairing my Tesla window on my birthday. I was freaking out after rock flew across highway. They were able to fix it beautifully and saved my birthday from being a total nightmare. Jake and the rest of the service department even vacuumed the glass out of the door for me. Highly recommended over our experience at other Tesla Service centers in the area. This location goes above and beyond to ensure your needs are met.
