Really professional and friendly staff in the nice showroom, love my Tesla and will definitely buy more in the future

I had a frustrating experience at Tesla service that I feel could have been handled much better. I initially approved a 12V battery replacement, but within just a few minutes I spoke with the advisor and asked to cancel it. From my perspective, I acted quickly to stop the service, but the work still went through and I was charged in full. What made this more frustrating is that I later realized the 12V battery had already been replaced last year…something that was not communicated to me at the time. If I had been made aware of that upfront, I would not have approved the replacement in the first place. I brought this up with the service team and spoke directly with the manager, Christopher Kenny, hoping there might be some flexibility or understanding given the timing and lack of communication. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to review the situation or offer any kind of adjustment. I understand that policies exist, but good customer service should also account for context… especially when a customer tries to cancel a service almost immediately and didn’t have all the relevant information to make an informed decision. This experience felt rigid and transactional rather than customer focused. I’ve had better experiences with Tesla in the past, which is why this stood out. I’m hoping this feedback helps improve communication and flexibility in situations like this moving forward.

Live in Erie. Tesla Buffalo is an easy drive. What was possibly going to be a several day issue turned into a “we can do this today”!! Saved me trips and a rental car!! Very friendly. Clean environment. Was a comfortable several hour wait. Definitely coming back for any future issues.

I was considering purchasing a Tesla. I had a question about how much it would cost to add the towing package. The answer I received was, “I don’t know off the top of my head. Probably several thousand dollars.” Perhaps I am just not used to dealing with the Tesla way of doing business but if this lack of interest and attention is how they approach a potential customer, I cannot imagine that it improves once one is dependent upon them for repairs. I guess I will reconsider and probably stick with Honda.

1- The waiting room : clean and well stocked with coffee and soda. Bathrooms clean, ample seating with a conference room. Decent amount of power plugs to work while you wait. 2- customer service : A+, I had multiple updates while waiting. The technician was clear and transparent about the process. They tried to make me as comfortable as possible while I waited for my repairs. 3- The repair process : they didn't not do the typical "within specs" that I usually get in Oakville Canada. As a matter of fact they noticed something else is wrong and they proceeded to repair it without me even asking. I think the repair was done in a rather timely fashion. This is a great location for Canadians who live in the Falls area, instead of going to Oakville, which has horrible customer service.
