I had a great experience at the Tesla dealership in Northlake. I was a little surprised to see the location has a 3.8-star rating because my experience was excellent from start to finish. Sam made the entire process smooth, quick, and professional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about providing great customer service. He took the time to answer my questions and made sure everything was handled efficiently. I also want to thank Max for helping me with my appointment and making the check-in process easy. If you’re visiting this Tesla location, I highly recommend asking for Sam. He’s a wonderful person, a true professional, and someone who genuinely cares about his customers. Thank you, Sam and the entire team, for making my visit such a positive experience!

Excellent Service Experience After Early CPO Issues I recently purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Model Y from Tesla on April 16, 2026, with 51,000 miles. It came with additional 10k-mile extended warranty. At delivery, I noticed a crack in the rear speaker cover, but otherwise the car looked and felt clean. I was genuinely happy with the purchase. Within the first week, I started hearing a noticeable clanking noise coming from the right control arm area. I had already planned long trips to Connecticut and then to Florida, so I drove the car anyway. The noise did not improve and actually got worse during the Florida trip. As a new owner with less than 5,000 miles on my purchase, I started feeling significant buyer’s remorse. It was disappointing to deal with these issues so soon in a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Upon returning home, I scheduled a service appointment at Northlake Tesla. Just two days later, the 12V battery died, leaving me unable to get into the car for work. Tesla promptly arranged a tow, and the service team took care of everything. I’m happy to report that the team replaced the necessary suspension components, which completely eliminated the clanking noise. The ride quality has improved dramatically — the car now “floats” smoothly as a Model Y should. They also resolved the 12V battery issue. All repairs were covered at no cost to me. While the initial problems and resulting frustration (especially during travel and work) were stressful, I want to sincerely thank the Northlake Tesla Service team for their understanding. They recognized this was a recent CPO purchase and handled the situation professionally and efficiently. The vehicle is now performing excellently, and my confidence in it has been restored. I appreciate the support and would recommend the Northlake service center based on how they resolved these early ownership issues.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Northlake Tesla service center regarding an ongoing issue with my rearview mirror. About two weeks ago, I visited the dealership because my rearview mirror seemed to develop condensation inside after sitting in the sun, and the problem got even worse when I turned on the air conditioning. The team at Tesla replaced the mirror without any hassle during that initial visit. Unfortunately, the replacement mirror began showing the same issue almost immediately after I got home. I scheduled a follow-up service appointment to address this recurring problem. After waiting for about two hours during the second visit, I was informed that the issue couldn’t be replicated and was advised to reschedule if it happened again. Not even three minutes after leaving the dealership, I noticed the mirror sweating again. I promptly took a picture and sent it to the service team, only to receive a response stating, “I do not see the concern in this picture.” This sequence of events left me incredibly disappointed. Frankly, it was the worst experience I’ve had with any dealership. The customer service was not only unhelpful, but it also left me feeling dismissed as a customer. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Northlake Tesla to anyone.

I spent about 45 minutes in the showroom today and discovered something fascinating. Apparently Tesla has solved autonomous driving, autonomous charging, and now… autonomous sales. Not a single employee acknowledged that I was there. No hello. No “can I help you?” Nothing. The impressive part is there were several employees present. At one point I started wondering if I had accidentally walked into some sort of showroom version of a library where human interaction is discouraged. I came in specifically hoping to do a test drive. Instead, I sat in one of the vehicles, played with the controls, and turned the music up a few times just to see if that might trigger some sort of human response. Still nothing. Everyone seemed extremely focused on their computers... On my way out I even started dictating this review out loud using voice-to-text, partly as a last experiment to see if anyone might acknowledge a person leaving the building. Negative. I left exactly the way I arrived: completely unacknowledged. I will say this though, if the goal is to create the first fully automated car buying experience where customers never interact with employees at all, this location is absolutely leading the industry.

Lucas was my contact through this entire process. He was kind, knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly very thorough. He took the time to explain everything to me and walk me through the entire process step by step. Even when we had a little snafu, him and Peyton explained everything to me in detail to ensure the process continued on smoothly. I was so pleased with my experience at this location. I went to simply test drive a Tesla for the first time and unexpectedly traded in my Escalade and bought a new Tesla all over the weekend. I love the Model Y so much it was an instant sale! I have never had such a smooth and stress-free car purchase. I am so very thankful for the staff at this location. Highly recommend!!
