Tesla Charlottesville

Luke was very helpful and patient when I had a demo drive at Tesla. I can tell he enjoys the features Tesla cars offer while I was on my demo drive. I love the car, I bought a 2026 Model Y. Until now, if I have a question, I just message him and he will respond. I like their showroom atmosphere too, it does not feel like you are being forced to buy a car. They are just very relaxed in that showroom.

My wife and I stopped by the Tesla showroom today in Charlottesville, Virginia. Great experience with Joseph taking us out in a CyberTruck and a model Y. We each had a turn at driving while in FSD (full self driving). Joseph was incredibly patient and very knowledgeable. We had a million questions. James Taylor is certainly the kind of person from whom I wanted to buy a car. He genuinely sought what was best for us and went the second mile via multiple texts and phone calls to help us understand the various models. Tesla itself doesn’t make it easy to buy a car, but Luke Cantrell who took over from James kept clarifying options and eventually, with an assist from his manager, helped us decide to take the plunge. A plus would have been easier access to closing documents before the final purchase. With all the Teslas on the road here, we think Charlottesville could benefit from a full service dealership. We ultimately drove to Raleigh to pick up the car we selected. Onboarding and orientation to the car there was limited. (The charger was missing. Eventually the staff there found another one. There was no flat tire inflater in the car but we did not notice that until later.) I am confident that the Charlottesville Tesla staff would do a very thorough job of that delivery process and would have done so more quickly. On the other hand, it was fun to let FSD drive me back to Charlottesville!
