Easily the worst part of having a Tesla so far has been dealing with this body shop. They are consistently condescending and are uninterested in providing information as per the client’s request. When I first got a Tesla, I assumed that the vertical integration of service and body shops was a pro, but I’ve found it to be the single worst aspect of habit a tesla. I was planning on getting another one and am now reconsidering solely because of my experience with these guys. At times it literally seems like they’re taking bribes from the insurance company and work for them rather than you, the customer and owner of a Tesla…

I feel so much more confident with my Cybertruck now. I was really worried when the frunk wouldn’t open after owning it for 14 months. I brought it to the Tesla dealer, and they told me it couldn’t be fixed there—I had to take it to a Tesla Collision Center. I was confused at first about why it needed to be handled there, but I trusted the process. They set up the appointment, gave me another Cybertruck as a loaner, and replaced the broken part in the frunk. The result is perfect. They even detailed my Cybertruck before I picked it up. I’m so happy with how everything turned out. Kudos to Anthony, Mike, and Sam for taking such great care of me throughout the whole process.

This feedback concerns my experience with Tesla Cherry Hill Collision following the theft of my wheels and tires. My rims were stolen on October 21. There is no Tesla roadside assistance available for this situation, so I had to contact multiple tow companies before finding one equipped with wheel dollies to properly transport the vehicle. The lug nuts had also been stolen, so I made a separate trip to Tesla Service to purchase replacement lug nuts out of pocket before the car could even be towed. The tow truck driver did not have an appropriate jack, so we used mine. I assisted in installing temporary wheels roadside. That process took approximately one hour under difficult conditions. I waited until November 25 for the earliest available collision appointment. During that entire month, the Tesla app showed “waiting for parts.” Once Tesla accepted the vehicle, I was told parts had to be ordered, and the car was not returned to me until December 2. My insurance only covered a rental for one month, so by the time Tesla accepted the vehicle I began paying rental costs out of pocket. By pickup, those costs were nearing 1000 dollars. Tesla billed my insurance approximately 3500 dollars for this claim. The invoice reflects 5.6 labor hours to replace wheels and related work, including 0.3 hours billed for installation of wheel covers that snap into place without tools. I previously worked in a service center and am familiar with the mounting and balancing process. While I understand that professional facilities operate on flat-rate structures and shop procedures differ, the labor billed relative to the scope of work completed felt disproportionate, particularly given that several inspection items were overlooked. Given that roadside installation took approximately one hour under far more challenging conditions, the labor billing raised concerns about proportionality. Insurance premiums are influenced by claim history, so labor billing impacts more than just this individual claim. In addition to delays and billing concerns, there were incomplete repairs. The thieves had dropped the car directly onto the ground and left a tire positioned under the center of the rocker panel, causing a significant dent in the plastic rocker trim. I pointed this out at drop-off. It was dark and raining, but I was assured theft-related damage would be addressed. A separate scratch on the rocker was noted. When I arrived for pickup, my service advisor Michael was no longer on site to walk through the repairs. The rocker damage remained. When I followed up, I was told that I had classified the rocker as pre-existing damage at drop-off. That did not reflect the nuance of our conversation, and it felt as though documentation was used to avoid addressing the theft-related damage. After driving home, I heard a rattling noise and discovered the driver-side repeater camera was dangling by its wiring harness with broken mounting tabs. This was not secured or identified during the repair process. When the vehicle was originally towed, the tow truck driver pointed out that a rear drive axle nut was missing. I assumed Tesla would thoroughly inspect the vehicle for any missing components beyond the wheels and lug nuts. However, on February 26, during state inspection, I was informed that the passenger-side rear axle nut and washer assembly were still missing, and the vehicle could not pass inspection. When I contacted the collision center about this, I was told the next available appointment was approximately one month out. I purchased the nut assembly myself and installed it in under a minute with a 32mm socket. Between the extended delays, out-of-pocket rental expenses, incomplete repairs, missed safety-related components, and billing concerns, this experience significantly impacted my confidence in the thoroughness and accountability of this location. For clarity, I have attached before and after photographs of the missing rear axle nut and washer assembly, as well as photographs of the repeater camera hanging loose at pickup.

I had an excellent experience at Tesla Service Collision in Cherry Hill. From the moment I dropped my car off, I received consistent updates on every step of the process and what the technicians were working on, which I truly appreciated. The entire Tesla team was welcoming and professional, but Michael especially stood out. He is incredibly kind, patient, and highly professional, and he made the whole experience stress-free from start to finish. Michael kept everything clear and transparent, and when we picked up the car, he took the time to walk us through all the work that was done and answer any questions we had. He even went above and beyond by giving us a complimentary Tesla bag and other gifts, which was such a thoughtful touch. My car looks good as new, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve loved Tesla for years and continue to do sothe company, customer service, and vehicles are all amazing. Unfortunately, I was hit just three hours after delivery, but Tesla truly made it right and did an incredible job. Thank you to Michael and the entire team for such an outstanding experience!
