Tesla Greenwood

We dropped off our car on a Sunday for a Thursday appointment. On the Monday following the appointment, we were asked to return to show the staff the problem. The car was completed the following Monday (11 days after the appointment). We were told that if we did not pick up with car within 1 day, we would be charged a storage fee. We were not offered a loaner, uber credits, etc. So we had to make 3 2+ hour round trips at their convenience.

Tesla is a scam when it comes to trade in value. They will give an offer and make you place an order. Once you are close to your delivery, they will low ball you on trade in by thousands of dollars. So now you take a low ball offer or lose $250 you paid as order fee. Be careful.

I wanted to leave this review before delivery because my situation has been a little complicated, and the Tesla delivery team in Greenwood has been really helpful through all of it. Robert and Quentin have both been great to work with, and the lady I spoke with this morning was also incredibly helpful. I didn’t catch her name at the time, but I’ll update this review soon because she definitely deserves to be recognized too. Like many Tesla locations, communication can sometimes be difficult because of the way the system is set up, but the Greenwood delivery team always made me feel like they were genuinely trying to help and work through things with me. The parts for Tesla vehicles are expectedly very expensive. However, what is not expected is the rudeness and delays I experienced when simply asking for a copy of the work done. I was told it was in the app. and that was end of conversation. Second call I assured Joey that the $350 maintenance report was not included, only a bill with no details. He sent a link that did not work. On the third call I was insulted, gaslighted and hung up on. Fourth and Fifth calls were to Lauren(I believe) identified as sales manager and the sixth and last call was with Devon, who was very pleasant, professional and seemed to understand my request. Several days later sent an email. Email sent to included 3 brief notes; in essence saying that my front grill was missing a plastic piece, Which it is not, and there there are no recalls for the vehicle, and that was in overall good condition. To say it was disappointing brief and a disappointment would be an understatement considering that it took over two hours, cost over $300 and provided no details nor explanation of what they actually did.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Brandon at your location! I came in a year and a half ago and did my first test drive. I fell in love, but I was still not quite there financially to be able to move forward and not be upside down on my current vehicle. So I impatiently waited because I wanted a Tesla so bad, but it was so worth the wait. Brandon kept in touch with me and found me my "Unicorn" that would keep me in my price range and monthly payment range, all while not being upside down on my car. He was never overbearing, just very helpful! I immediately went in for another test drive just to confirm that I would equally love the vehicle that he found for me, and I did! He took the time to help me place my order, and had fully communicated with me all throughout the buying process until delivery. Thank you Brandon, and I will continue to refer you to others, and I will be a repeat customer!
