Tesla Libertyville

I am extremely disappointed with my recent service experience. A loaner vehicle was initially reserved for my appointment, but it was later changed, leaving me without transportation despite spending thousands of dollars on repairs. When customers are paying significant amounts for service, reliable transportation should not be an afterthought. What makes this even more frustrating is that other Tesla service centers consistently provide loaner vehicles, while this location seems to have ongoing issues with customer support and communication. The lack of consistency and consideration for customers’ time creates unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. Tesla builds exceptional vehicles, but the service experience at this location falls far below the standards I would expect from a premium brand. I hope management takes steps to improve communication, honor commitments, and provide a better customer experience in the future.

A seamless experience through and through. My car was ready right away and the process of picking it up, trading my old car in, and driving off was easy and comprehensive. I left my keys behind and they generously mailed them back to me in Milwaukee. Floored with my new Tesla and with the customer service at the Libertyville location!

This dealership is amazing! Not sales-y at all but so professional and straightforward. Michael was so helpful in explaining how the car worked and made the process as smooth as possible. Bought our first Tesla here and will absolutely be back here for the next one!

I live very close to this dealership, and even though I had seen some negative reviews, I still decided to go with them because of the convenience. Having a nearby dealership is important to me, especially for the long term. Initially, I did a test drive of a new Model S and really liked it. However, after getting home, I realized I could save quite a bit by purchasing a lightly used one with low mileage. So I went with a pre-owned Model S instead. Unfortunately, my first impression when picking up the car was disappointing. There were noticeable scratches, and the car drove like it had 100,000 miles on it—even though it only had about 11,000. I later found out the vehicle had been transferred from another dealership, which partially explains the condition, but still raised questions about quality control. That said, the staff—especially Zee, the sales manager—were very professional. They reassured me, addressed my concerns, and did their best to fix the issues. I ended up taking the car, but initially felt frustrated with my decision and even regretted not going with a new one. Over time, my perception improved significantly thanks to the service team, Mathew, James and others big thanks!!! They were highly professional and really helped turn things around. It’s actually quite rare to see both a strong sales team and a strong service team in the same place—I’ve bought many cars before, and usually it’s one or the other. In the end, they even replaced the wheels, which made a big difference in how the car feels. Overall, I’m giving 4 stars. I would rate the dealership itself 5 stars, but my experience with the pre-owned Tesla brings the overall score down slightly.

As usual, amazing experience! Bought an S Plaid here a year ago and came back for more! Sebastian got us set up after we purchased a Model X Plaid. He even went out of his way to put some of my wife's favorite candy on the dash! Amazing customer service and chill as usual with no hassles. I've had a service call here a while back and can't say enough good things about that either. Cybertruck will be next and I'm definitely coming back to these guys! TSLA4Life! UFSD LFG!
