I cannot say enough great things about the Tesla Service Center on Tchoupitoulas in New Orleans! Every single time I come in, the experience is amazing. The service guy Robert, and the entire service team are always incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. What really stands out to me is that everyone—from the people at the front to the technicians working in the back—takes the time to listen to my concerns and gives me their full attention whenever I need it. You truly feel like they care and want to make sure everything is taken care of. And on a more personal note, I also appreciate that no one has ever made fun of me for drinking approximately 14 cups of coffee or occasionally stealing their Nutri-Grain bars! 😂 They somehow continue to welcome me back anyway. Seriously though, the kindness, patience, professionalism, and overall customer service at this location are exceptional. It is always a wonderful experience coming in, and I genuinely appreciate everyone there for making each visit such a positive one. Thank you to the entire team for always taking such great care of me and my Tesla!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel people should know. I had my 2020 Tesla towed from Baton Rouge to the New Orleans Service Center because the vehicle had 19 phone keys registered from a previous owner and I needed a new key card programmed. Since there wasn’t a working key, the car couldn’t be placed into Tow Mode to come off the trailer. The entire reason I brought it to Tesla was because only they could program a key and get the vehicle moving again. When I arrived near the end of the day, it immediately felt like the staff didn’t want to take on any more work. After some hesitation, they found a technician who attempted to program the key. Within a few minutes, he verbally told me I probably needed a Security Control Module, said it would be expensive, and that I’d have to bring the car back Monday because he couldn’t get the key programmed. I asked him how I was supposed to bring the car back if it couldn’t even come off the trailer without a programmed key. His response was simply a shrug and, “I don’t know.” That answer gave me very little confidence that anyone was actually trying to solve the problem. I respectfully asked for a second opinion because the diagnosis didn’t seem right. Another employee came out and said he might be able to do it, then disappeared for about 30 minutes while I stood outside waiting. During that time I watched the service center close and employees drive away. Eventually I was left with no solution. Because the service center is closed on weekends, my Tesla remained stranded on the trailer all weekend. I had to schedule another appointment and make the drive from Baton Rouge to New Orleans a second time. On my second visit, I was helped by a much more experienced technician. He programmed the key in about five minutes. No Security Control Module. No expensive repair. The problem that I was told couldn’t be solved on Friday was resolved almost immediately. I’m grateful for the technician who ultimately fixed the car, but it’s disappointing that a second opinion wasn’t offered before I was sent home. That decision cost me another round trip between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, additional time, fuel, and an entire weekend with my Tesla stranded on a trailer. The experienced technician deserves credit for resolving the issue quickly. Unfortunately, the customer service and troubleshooting I received on my first visit are why I’m leaving this one-star review.

March 2026 We stopped by here for our vehicle battery replacement. Small parking lot and difficult to maneuver around. Other than that, courteous staff.
