Tesla Rocklin

Picked up my model Y, Juan was great showing me just enough of what was needed and adjusting the DMV application per our request. He was busy at times but made time for me after I was done checking the vehicle. He answered questions patiently. I feared that customer service would not be great based on some of the comments listed below, but I had a good experience. The rest of the staff was busy helping others but someone else made time to ask if I had been helped.

We love Tesla cars, but the experience with Tesla Rocklin was absolutely terrible. While we were placing the order, the sales guy Brian was helpful and responsive. But the moment the order was completed, everyone completely disappeared. Calls were ignored, nobody followed up, and customer service became nonexistent. The worst part was the delivery experience. Delivery manager Andre handled everything very carelessly and unprofessionally. Nobody explained the vehicle, nobody showed us basic features or setup. We were literally told: “Just figure it out yourself or watch YouTube.” Even the temporary paper plates were attached improperly — we lost them within the first 10 minutes of driving. All the transport plastic covers and packaging were crumpled up and stuffed into the center armrest like nobody cared at all. Customer service at this location is awful. The employees seemed uneducated about the vehicle and technically untrained. When we asked basic questions about maintaining and caring for the car, the answer was simply: “Check the app.” Again — we love Tesla as a brand and love the car itself, but Tesla Rocklin completely ruined what should have been an exciting and special delivery experience. Extremely disappointing dealership.

We just bought another Tesla—this time a Model Y—and the experience was fantastic thanks to Jake. He set us up with a test drive, walked us through all the new features (a lot has changed since our 2018 Model 3!), and made the entire process smooth, fun, and stress-free. Jake really knows his stuff and took the time to explain all the “fancy” upgrades in a way that actually made them exciting instead of overwhelming. I’m especially loving the self-driving mode—so much fun, and as a realtor it’s basically a game-changer for scouting neighborhoods while the car does the work. Zero gas, zero pressure, all smiles. Huge thanks to Jake for an awesome experience—we’re beyond excited! 🚗

The staff is amazing here. We worked with a salesman named Vince and he was the most polite and knowledgeable person that I have encountered at a dealership. He treated us fairly and was never pushy nor rude. I highly recommend working with him. Before visiting Tesla, I thought that the company was elitist and that i would be judged as i walked in the door. Boy, was I wrong! The environment was welcoming, non-judgemental and all the employees immediately made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this company, especially this location, to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. I learned so much about their vehicles and how convenient owning one is despite the fact I live up in the mountains. When I arrived, I barely knew the names of the vehicles there. Now, I find myself talking about how awesome the Cybertruck is to anyone that will listen. It really was a unique experience that I will not soon forget. Thank you, again, Vince!
