Tesla Santa Fe

I am deeply dissatisfied with the performance of the Tesla Santa Fe Service Center. I have been a loyal Tesla owner since 2020. My first vehicle was a Model 3, followed by a 2022 Model S, and most recently I took delivery of a new 2026 Model S. Over the years, my 2022 Model S required multiple service visits, which led me to work frequently with Mario. I came to know him well and had positive interactions with him. All of my Model S vehicles have been over $100,000, and my 2022 Model S was equipped with a yoke instead of a traditional steering wheel. After adjusting to it, I came to prefer the yoke, so when ordering my new Model S, I made it clear to Gabe, who I haven’t known for that long, that I wanted the same configuration. He was familiar with my previous vehicle and fully aware that it had a yoke. When my new car arrived, I was surprised and disappointed to find it equipped with a steering wheel. When I raised this with Mario, he checked the order and confirmed that Gabe had submitted it with a wheel instead of a yoke. A few days later, I spoke directly with Gabe, who told me that Tesla had stopped supplying yokes entirely and that nothing could be done. I found this explanation difficult to believe. To verify, my wife and I drove to the Tesla Service Center in Bernalillo, NM. Their representative immediately confirmed that a yoke could be ordered for my new vehicle with no issue. He placed the order on the spot and informed me that Tesla could install it at my home through mobile service within a few days. The contrast between the two service centers was stark. The discrepancy in information and capability suggests either a serious lack of competence at the Santa Fe location or that I was deliberately misled. At this point, I genuinely do not know which explanation is correct.

Went in for a test drive. They let me borrow a Cybertruck all day! It was a quick, painless, experience. My daughter and I had snacks while they set up my account on the Tesla app and even preprogrammed my route to the zoo in ABQ because I had mentioned I we were headed there. I highly recommend you stop in if you’re curious about the self driving capabilities of a Tesla. FYI… free charging is included with your test drive and going from 20% charge to 80% only takes a few minutes at a supercharger.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have honestly never experienced service at a car dealership as good as I did at Tesla in Santa Fe. Gabriel gave my father and me such a warm welcome from the very first moment. We originally just stopped by because we are visiting from Germany and wanted to see the Cybertruck and maybe test it. Within five minutes, we were already sitting inside the Cybertruck and were allowed to test the autonomous driving features for about two hours. What an incredible experience! When we returned the keys, Gabriel told us that if we ever wanted to test drive another vehicle, we could simply come back. That’s exactly what we did, we came back today to test drive the Tesla Model Y. Once again, Gabriel welcomed us warmly and even remembered our names — outstanding customer service. After the test drive, he even helped me configure a Model Y and connected me with a Tesla dealership near my home in Germany. I can highly recommend this Tesla dealership. Thank you again, Gabriel, for your kindness and exceptional service!

Andy and the entire Tesla team here are great people! They have taken care of misc warranty issues painlessly, always kept me in the loop and went above and beyond to make sure things were perfect.
