I was in Laguna for work and, just as I was about to head home to the Thousand Oaks area, one of the tires on my loaner vehicle went flat from a nail. It was 9:30 PM, and with no service centers open, I was stuck in Laguna overnight. It took well over an hour for Tesla Roadside Service to answer, but they eventually towed me to the Aliso Viejo Service Center. I was very frustrated, as I’m used to having a spare and this was my first flat in a Tesla. The center opened at 7:30 AM, but I was very relieved to see Robert was already working on my vehicle even before the shop opened. Although roadside service was very slow, Robert was immediately on top of it. He had the tire replaced in 30 minutes, and I was finally back on the road heading home. This was great customer. Thank you, Robert

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire service team for the excellent service I received. A special thank you to Robert, who did an outstanding job ensuring my car was repaired in a timely manner. He truly went above and beyond his responsibilities by arranging for the car to be delivered to me, which I greatly appreciated. His professionalism and dedication left a strong impression on me. If I were in a position to do so, I would gladly recognize his efforts with a promotion or a significant bonus. Thank you again for such exceptional service.

I bought my Tesla Model 3 in January 2025. Since then I’ve had the same recurring problem with the steering column: When the steering wheel extends from fully retracted to fully forward it makes a loud grinding noise and vibration. I’ve taken the car back to the service center SIX times to get this fixed. 1. The first time they found the bracket that holds the steering column to the chassis was incorrectly installed. They fixed it under warranty. The fix lasted about 2 weeks. 2. The second time they found there was no lubrication in the steering column, so they fixed that. 3. The third time they replaced the entire steering column. After releasing the car back to me the steering wheel made a grinding noise so the technician had to remove the steering wheel to fix that new problem. It was then that I asked him what caused the HUNDREDS of fatal error messages in the vehicle’s logs which stated the steering control module had failed and needed replacing… something I’d been told by the front desk staff that I needn’t worry about. He looked at the logs, saw the error messages, and said he needed to replace the steering control module! 4. They replaced the steering column again on the fourth return to get the grinding noise fixed. The tech said it was a common issue with 2025 Model 3s. 5. The 5th time I took it in to get the grinding noise in the steering column fixed, they returned the car without doing anything, saying they couldn’t replicate the issue. It had made the grinding noise every time the steering wheel extended (several times a day) for the month or more since the last fix, but apparently not during the “50+” times they tried it! 6. The steering column continued to make the loud grinding noise ever since the 4th service. I drove the car to Yuma, Arizona, and the car’s clock was continuously showing Pacific time, which was one hour earlier than MST. The car’s implementation of Grok said Yuma and California were the same time, which was wrong. Grok suggested I check the website time.is/yuma, which I did, and it agreed with me and my cell phone… the car’s clock (and Grok) were wrong. It was 6pm in Yuma, but Grok and the car’s clock said it was 5pm. I asked Grok to do what it had told me to do… check time.is/yuma. Grok responded, saying the website said the time in Yuma, Arizona was 11:04am! Grok agreed with me that it was impossible for it to be 11:04am anywhere in the USA and then it suggested there was a problem with the GPS and to take the car in for service. I took the car in for service to get the GPS checked out, and to have the steering column repaired, AGAIN. I dropped the car off at 10am on Wednesday, explained the problems and showed the video I’d made of my car’s clock and Grok showing the wrong time. The front desk guy sat in the car and checked the steering column for himself as the last time it was there they couldn’t replicate the problem. The steering column made a loud grinding noise each time it was extended. He called a technician over so that the technician could confirm and verify the noise was not normal. So, TWO Tesla employees confirmed the problem. My car sat there all day, untouched. At the end of day on Friday I received notification that they were unable to replicate the noise on the steering column and they found no issues with the GPS! My question for Tesla is: Let’s say I brought the car in because the seatbelt wasn’t working - let’s say that it never locked. Two Tesla employees confirm the problem when I bring it in, including a technician. But when the car is finally worked on, two days after I brought it in, the seatbelt worked fine, would they just send me home with a CONFIRMED faulty seatbelt? It seems they would! In my case, they would send my home with a faulty steering column & control module, that had already been replaced twice and not lubricated twice. A few text messages were exchanged and they decided to keep the car another three days (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) to replace the steering column again. If not fixed permanently this time the lemon law kicks in.

Recently serviced my Tesla Model 3 here and was extremely impressed with the quality of work and the overall experience. From drop-off to pick-up, the process was smooth, transparent, and well-organized. I received regular updates, and everything that was quoted ahead of time matched the final result — no delays, no unexpected charges. I especially want to highlight Alex and Brian . Both were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. They took the time to explain what was done, what to keep an eye on in the future, and answered all my questions without rushing. It’s clear they care about both the customer and the car. Great service, great people, and very professional work. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this Service Center to other Tesla owners.

I am writing to share my experience at the Tesla Service Center in Aliso Viejo, which was extremely disappointing and upsetting. I walked into the service center and waited to be helped. There were approximately four employees working at the desk, yet no one acknowledged me or offered assistance. One man briefly spoke to me and said he would be right back, but he disappeared. Then he returned and asked if I had pulled my car in I responded no I then pulled my car into the service area as instructed, returned inside, and stood waiting again. I waited approximately 5–8 minutes without anyone speaking to me, while employees continued helping customers who arrived after me. Eventually, I asked if someone was going to help me. A gentleman named Brian responded by saying he thought I had already been helped. I explained that I was still standing there waiting and had not been assisted. He then began looking at his computer and told me they might not have time to service my car and that I would need to leave it. When I asked how I was supposed to get home, he stated that Tesla does not provide loaners for my type of service and said, “That’s why it says drop-off.” No one had explained that the car would need to be left overnight. Why schedule an appointment at 2:30if you’re not able to finish it by the end of the day? Brian then told me I could bring the car back the next day. I explained that I did not want to spend Christmas Eve at the Tesla service Center. then proceeded to help another guest in front of me.. During this conversation, Brian began waving his hands at me while speaking, which I found disrespectful and inappropriate. I asked him not to raise his hands while talking to me also showing him that he was raising his hands like.I questioned Neither whether he speaks to other customers in this manner. I was the only brown-skinned customer in the service center at the time, and I could not help but feel that I was being treated differently. I could not visualize this same behavior being directed toward other customers. This made the experience even more uncomfortable. Despite still needing assistance, Brian began helping the next customer before finishing with me. When I asked if he was going to complete helping me, he responded dismissively. Eventually, he did make an appointment for me, but only after assisting others first. Tesla has cameras in the service center, and I am confident they would show how long I waited without assistance and the interaction that took place. I am deeply disappointed in how I was treated, particularly by Brian, and by the lack of support from the other employees who ignored me entirely. I hope Tesla does not train its employees to communicate with customers using dismissive behavior or hand gestures. This experience did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from Tesla.PLEASE GIVE ME BACK MY ONE STAR!! Sincerely, Tammy Blankenbaker
