I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way my recent service appointment was handled. When I initially scheduled the service, I was given an estimate of approximately **$120**. However, when I arrived at the Service Center, the estimate was increased to approximately **$240**. Later, I was told that the issue had been repaired, and I was charged approximately **$268**, which I was told included the diagnostic fee and labor. (no part replaced, only labor fee) However, when I picked up my vehicle, **the exact same noise was still present**. The issue had not been fixed at all. Because the problem remained unresolved, I had to bring the vehicle back to the Service Center. The vehicle was kept for another whole day, and I was told initially that I would need to pay approximately **$80 more**. I reluctantly approved this additional amount because I needed the vehicle repaired. As more time passed, I was then told that the cost would be approximately **$280 more**. Although I was extremely frustrated by the constantly increasing charges, I agreed because my priority was getting my vehicle properly repaired. However, by the end of the other day—after my vehicle had been at the Service Center for **two full days**—I was suddenly told that I would need to pay approximately **$1,100**. (w/o any part replaced) At that point, I was extremely upset. I told the Service Center that I no longer wanted them to continue working on the vehicle and that I would simply take my vehicle back. I asked them to park the vehicle outside so that I could pick it up that evening. On top of that, on the first day, the technician told me that he would inspect the vehicle and let me know within 30 minutes what the problem was. However, I never heard anything from him. Then, shortly afterward, I was told that the issue had been fixed, and I was charged $268. Ultimately, **the Service Center did not repair my vehicle.** They just disassembled the vehicle parts, spent significant time diagnosing it, but were unable to identify the cause of the problem or complete the repair. Despite this, I was charged substantial amounts for diagnostic and labor fees. I find this extremely unreasonable and unacceptable. I understand that diagnosing a difficult problem can sometimes take time, and I am willing to pay a reasonable diagnostic fee when appropriate. However, in this situation, **the original problem was not resolved, the vehicle was not repaired, and I ultimately had to take the vehicle back in the same condition in which I brought it in.** What is particularly concerning is that I was repeatedly given different estimates—approximately $120, then $240, then $268, followed by additional charges of approximately $80, $280, and ultimately $1,100—without the underlying problem ever being fixed. I am requesting that Tesla review this entire service history, including the diagnostic and labor charges (And they also told me that they believed the noise was coming from the rear seat area. However, I had already had the rear seat serviced twice, and the second time, the entire rear seat was replaced about two years ago). At that point, I honestly thought to myself, “Wow, it must be easy to make money this way. You just disassemble various parts of the car, inspect them to look for the problem, and even if you don’t figure out what’s wrong, you still get paid for all that time.” If I went to a hospital for a diagnosis, would a doctor simply perform surgery on different parts of my body because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong, and then charge me for all of it? I still cannot understand or accept the way this Service Center handled my situation. I will never return to this location again. P.S. When I came to pick up the car, I found parts left on the floor, yet the car was returned to me like this. I have no idea where the red part came from or where it belongs. I am shocked and extremely disappointed. This has been a terrible experience.

My brand new MY had a faulty Power Conversion System (failed day 1) that needed replacement. They gave me a loaner since the part was not available. I really appreciate the service manager for being very responsive and going the extra mile to help return my car. Although concerning to have such a failure, the service department really did their best to rectify the problem and save Tesla's image.

Service was great overall, and the customer service team was amazing. As a new customer, I wasn’t aware of where to pick up my vehicle since they didn’t process it in the app until later, but the staff was very communicative and friendly throughout the process. One issue I experienced was that the mechanic left gloves, screws, and other materials inside the vehicle after service. With kids involved, that was not a pleasant experience. Other than that, everything went well. I would just recommend ensuring vehicles are fully inspected and cleaned out before notifying customers that they are ready for pickup.

Really good experience. Ethan and Freddy did a good job explaining the issue and getting the car serviced. They were quick and equally courteous. Pretty decent waiting lounge with Coffee machine and light snacks.

I recently brought my Model Y back to the Tesla Service Center in Alpharetta after having the 12V battery replaced, along with routine maintenance such as tire rotation, wiper replacement, and a cabin air filter change a couple weeks ago. Shortly after, I noticed an unusual issue: the car would roll backward while stopped on slopes instead of engaging Hold mode as expected when regenerative braking was set to ON. While I was able to secure an appointment within a couple of days—and the issue was diagnosed and resolved the same day—it would have been even better if this had been identified and addressed before the vehicle was released during the previous service visit. That said, I truly appreciate the support from Tom at the Alpharetta service center and the technician, Bruce, who worked on my vehicle. They reinstalled the firmware, which resolved the problem, and they waived the service fee since the issue was software-related rather than due to mechanical wear and tear. Overall, I’m thankful for the prompt resolution and the professionalism of the team
