Tesla don’t cost you is a joke. My 2023 Tesla Model Y, purchased Dec. 2023, just had its A/C compressor fail at ~55,000 miles. Tesla confirmed the compressor failure. Basic warranty: 50,000 miles. I asked for goodwill or even partial assistance because a major component failed only ~5k miles outside the warranty. Declined. I asked for a manager at Tesla Austin-Ridgepoint. In my experience, I was instead presented with another colleague and again told nothing could be done. Final result: ~$1,557 out of my pocket. The idea that a Tesla “costs almost nothing to maintain” because there are no oil changes now feels very different to me. A single $1,500+ repair on a car less than three years old can erase a lot of those supposed maintenance savings. Add significant depreciation and the total cost-of-ownership story becomes much less attractive. Tesla may technically be correct about the 50k warranty cutoff. But buyers should understand what ownership can look like once they cross it. If you drive high mileage, think very carefully about total cost of ownership—not just electricity vs. gasoline—before buying a Tesla. They also decline to give a loner what kind of customer service is this they know it

Zero sense of organization. They overbook appointments. Go to another service center. Update: Not all the maintenance was completed. Will be taking vehicle to another service center to double check vehicle and complete maintenance. 🤦🏻

We had a negative experience at this service center and I let them know of it privately in a feedback form. Afterwards, Dustin called me and left me a voicemail, he asked me to call back, but he did not give me his extension. Without knowing an extension of a person you end up spending 30 minutes talking to Tesla AI chat and then a human support that is not able to connect you to a person, which only adds fury to already negative experience. So Dustin, I’m happy to delete this zero star review if you could send me a message or email or leave a voicemail, and let me know how to actually connect with you so I could explain to you everything that’s gone wrong in the service process. Update. I was able to connect with Dustin via the app message, but he clearly does not want a feedback since instead of letting me have information to how to connect with him, he just said he’ll call me back again. Because clearly I should be on his schedule and not the other way. Well, Dustin, let me summarize our problems. You were supposed to fix the AC and you didn’t. The coolant wasn’t the problem. It’s the broken temperature sensor. That is the problem and I can prove it to you, but for some reason I need to do that instead of your technicians. You were supposed to fix self driving that swerves at night and crosses the lanes and you replaced some component that did not need to be replaced and the self driving is still broken, and you didn’t even bother putting the pieces together fully when you gave us the car. Lastly, after your wonderful service, the car zaps everyone with electricity every time we close the doors. Go figure…

A great car repair spot. Staff was very inviting and kind; great vibes. Erik helped me replace my low voltage battery today. I came in with the expectation that I would replace it myself at home but he was very accommodating and well versed in my vehicle. He even pulled in Mike a tire expert. Mike was extremely knowledgeable, kind, considerate and even taught me the meaning of each number in the tire spec. Between both of them I felt very comfortable getting my low voltage battery replaced and I plan on using this location for all my long term maintenance. Not to mention I was in and out in 25 minutes from our conversation to booking my appointment to leaving in my repaired vehicle.

I just found out that Mike Lopez lie to me about the bolster they damaged, the clip was broken, he claim it's fine and try to fix it, I didn't know better until the next appointment from mobile service arrive, the technician point out the the half of the clip is gone, they broke it, that's why the bolster is not sitting right. And he had to put in another service request for me. During the previous appointment which they had to fix the parcel shelf because when the one appointment before that for the rear window they didn't sit the parcel shelf right, the left rear headliner airbag safety strap was cut without my knowledge, the mobile tech point it out to me when he service the part. I was surprised they disregard safety to this degree. The manager Dustin was trying to convince me everything looks OK, so it must be fine. Turn out, he either didn't know he put me into this safety hazard or he know but still do it anyway. They also avoid the conversation when I brought up Vehicle Health Check which they did none. And when I ask them to fix the part they broke, I had to escalate, to make them understand that my car when they admitted, it's in prestine condition, and when I got it back it wasn't. I would not recommend this service center, they do 0 VHC, 0 QA, and when you point out their fault, they try to smooth talk you manipulate you to accept the imperfections that they called "fix".
