Tesla Service Center

one of the worst tesla service out there. was there the first time about a seat creak and was told it was 'within spec'. brought it to other tesla service, it was fixed. tried them 2nd time today, they won't touch and check my car without payment because I had a window tint. keeps telling me due to my tint it will automatically require me to pay because there is after market installed. I told the service advisor if he can explain why the other windows does not do that. he said the the tolerance between the doors and windows are just enough for the window without the tint, then I asked him again why was the other window does not do that and told me it was something with alignment but they still need to charge me because I have a window tint. I told him if it was alignment problem then it should be covered by warranty regardless if I have tint or not, and he told me if I remove my tint and bring it back they will fix it with warranty. their manager was not helpful at all and arrogant. no customer service at all. worst tesla service around bay area.

Paid for inspection, did not receive inspection sheet Lights were not changed for condensation despite pictures. Told to wait. Assuming so it falls out of warranty Control arm bushings were told by service advisor not in warranty. In the last control arm bushings should not fail at 40-43k miles. Overall a waste of time dropping my car off at tesla Berkeley service

I had a great service experience at Tesla Berkeley. My Model Y had recurring alerts related to the steering system and parking brake. The team diagnosed the issue correctly and replaced the steering rack under warranty. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Special thanks to Josh for his help, clear communication, and attention to detail. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Really appreciate the support and the quality of service. 07.14.2025 | 9:24am Tesla EV is the future. Very simple. I am surprised this location in Berkeley CA is not business for walk in, that is a pro. And the lounge is nice, with a complimentary snacks and coffee, has restrooms, vending machines, music and TV, plus for parent bringing their kids lounge has small play area. Very welcoming. Then their technician very simple, he checked his computer to see any recommendations but yet forthcoming and simple to understand. Good service vibe has a fellow human is exceptional. Bravo! I don’t know about the rest of the reviews but my experience and point of view may be because of a simple service. I will ask what services do I need for appointments. Con: I see no charging station for convenience, unlike Tesla Dublin service I was able to charge while waiting

I visited the Tesla Service Center because I had an issue with my subscription service, but was told they don’t handle that. I had already tried resetting the system using the steering wheel buttons, but after the reset, only my rear camera would display in reverse—not the side cameras. While I was at the service center, I remembered this camera issue and mentioned it to the person at the front desk. I explained I’d already done a reset and now only the rear camera was showing. He told me I’d need to schedule an appointment, which would take time and cost money, so they could investigate further. Instead of checking my car in, I decided to look into the problem myself in the parking lot. I discovered there was a collapsed drop-down menu in the camera view, and once I clicked the arrow to expand it, the side cameras reappeared—the issue was just a minimized camera view, not a technical fault. So, what could have turned into a service visit was actually a simple fix I found on my own. I wish the staff had been more familiar with these basic troubleshooting steps before recommending a service appointment.
