Tesla Service Center

Brought my Model Y in for an emergency tire repair. I'm a tourist visiting from LA with my wife and 15-year-old dog. I called Tesla Service at 1:00 PM on Monday and told them I had the factory Hankook 21" tires. They assured me they had them in stock, that I'd get towed, and the tire could be installed that day so I could make it home to LA for $506 plus fees. The tow company didn't arrive until nearly 5:00 PM, and the car ended up at Tesla Fresno at 7:00 PM when they were already closed. I had no loaner car and had to pay for a hotel, which I was willing to do because it's an emergency and stuff happens. I checked my app early in the morning. Promised I'd be done before 10am. However I arrived at 12pm the car was not done and I was told they didnt have the tire. That it was coming soon. At around 4pm I was told my car was done however they fitted an unmatching Pirelli which I didn't agree to and gave me a small discount. After wasting 2 days and lying to me. So I was forced to pay so I could make it home that day. They installed the new tire but didn't even put the dust cap back on or add air to the rear which was low. I basically wasted an entire two days and the cost of a hotel, and nobody is taking responsibility. I was even willing to take a loaner car back to LA and then come back later for the right tires, but they couldn't do it.

My windshield was not repaired today. When I dropped off my car this morning, I was told it would be ready around 1:30 PM. I took an Uber to work after dropping it off, and then another Uber back at 5:00 PM to pick it up. During the entire day, no one called or texted me to let me know that the repair could not be completed. When I arrived, I was simply told that I needed to schedule another appointment. There was also no loaner vehicle available for me. I live about 1 hour and 10 minutes away from the Tesla Service Center, so this has caused me a significant inconvenience and additional transportation costs.

I brought my tesla into the service center to have the radiator cleaned. When I picked up the car I was told that my car did not pass the thermal test because the radiator fan was not functioning. The repair for the fan was going to be $800 but because there might be software issues I was quoted $2800 to replace the majority of the cooling system. When I got home I confirmed the fan is working (hear and feel it) I also checked the service mode which showed the fan spinning. While checking under the hood I found multiple fasteners were broken and some trim pieces weren’t even fastened into place.

Jay, Derrick, and the service team hooked me up with 4 new tires when I stopped in during a road trip. We were halfway to our destination when we noticed 2 of the tires were shot and they were kind enough to help out and squeeze us in. Super friendly peeps and a nice waiting area. My car needed a battery replacement and I was freaking out due to needing to get to work: I had my car towed in for faster service. I called the center and spoke with Ruben to confirm the status of when the repairs will be ready. I had not expectation of my car being ready within 24ht notice but Ruben eased my nerves with letting me know my car will be ready in an Hour !! He was very nice, answered all my questions, and gave great customer service.
