Tips: 1. Chattanooga is on EST, 1 hour ahead of CST time. Make sure to factor it in when scheduling the appointment. 2. Make sure you check the repairs before leaving in case they missed anything. Our experience has been pretty good. The bottom panels of our car were very broken. Scheduled the appointment 5 days out on the Tesla app, was given an estimated quote of $700+. Drove to Chattanooga from Clarksville TN since Nashville service wouldn't be available until 3 weeks later. Halfway on the way we realized Chattanooga was 1 hour ahead, so I texted in the message box that we might be late for 1.5h, and they adjusted the appointment time very quickly for free. We found one broken bolt after repairs were done, was told it would cost an additional $130, but the manager ended up waiving it, and our final cost was actually $40 less than the original quote price. The repairs were done in 2.5-3 hours. They also charged the car to 80% while fixing it so we could hit the road right after, so it was pretty nice. Still need to see how the parts hold up long-term, I hope they'll last. Based on the visit, I'd call the service solid.

had an outstanding experience working with Jamarius Julious at Tesla Motors. From the very beginning, he demonstrated a high level of professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for making sure I was comfortable and fully informed throughout the entire process. Jamarius took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, never rushing or making me feel pressured. He was extremely patient with all of my questions and made sure I felt confident in every decision I was making. His knowledge of Tesla’s vehicles and services was impressive, and it was clear that he truly understands the brand and what it stands for. What stood out the most was his attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond. He made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in providing exceptional customer service. If you’re considering Tesla Motors, I highly recommend asking for Jamarius Julious. He made a lasting impression, and I truly appreciate all the help he provided.

I drove two hours to get my windshield washer, fluid filled, and my air filter repaired or replaced. My windshield washer fluid was never filled. And somehow they are trying to convince me that there’s absolutely no way that they could’ve forgotten one thing, but most certainly not have forgotten another thing. The trip was expensive driving two hours and waiting two hours and then driving back two hours just for them to tell me. Oh sorry we forgot about one thing but DONT WORRY we didn’t forget anything else. Seriously was the most inconsiderate customer service conversation that I’ve had.

I am an extremely loyal Tesla owner and, until this experience, fully expected to remain one. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with this service center was so unprofessional and mishandled that it has completely eroded my trust. My vehicle (Model Y, 39k miles, under extended battery warranty) broke down while I was on vacation and was towed to this location on December 29th as it was the closest Tesla service center. Upon arrival, I immediately informed staff that I live over six hours away and asked for an estimated timeframe just to run diagnostics. I waited in the lobby for four hours, only to then be told they would not even be able to look at the vehicle for three days—information that should have been communicated upfront. From that point forward, communication was consistently poor or nonexistent. Over the course of the next week, I attempted multiple times to get updates through the Tesla app and by phone, receiving no response. I ultimately had to contact the Birmingham Tesla Service Center just to get someone at this location to respond to me at all. My vehicle had completely shut down due to water exposure. When informed that water was found in the battery connectors, I specifically asked whether water inside the high-voltage battery would be covered under my battery warranty. I was placed on hold while the advisor checked with management and was explicitly assured that if water was found in the HV battery, it would be fully covered under warranty. Despite this assurance, I later received vague messages stating the battery required inspection to determine whether the repair would be “customer pay” or “warranty,” with no explanation provided despite repeated questions. Messages in the app were routinely ignored or dismissed, and there were multiple instances where a technician (Hugh) messaged me after hours stating he would check on my vehicle, then never followed up. I was later told that warranty determination was delayed because their diagnostic equipment was broken and waiting on parts. Once testing finally occurred, I was told the repair was covered under warranty. At that point—nearly four weeks in—the replacement battery pack arrived and was installed within two days. I was then informed the car was ready for pickup and scheduled my return. The following day, I was called and told the car was throwing a low-voltage battery error, and I was told—verbatim—that this “had absolutely nothing to do with the work we did,” despite the fact that I had just approved a $161 charge for a brand-new low-voltage battery. The tone and delivery were unprofessional and dismissive. A diagnostic was run and found nothing, making the situation even more concerning. Due to the constant date changes and my distance from the service center, I arranged professional vehicle transport. Staff were initially resistant to this, despite my circumstances. When the vehicle arrived, my key card was missing. I was told I must have it—despite the fact that it was turned in with the vehicle on December 29th. I was then instructed to “go to my nearest dealer” to resolve it. To make matters worse, upon delivery I discovered interior damage (a broken panel) that was not present when the vehicle was dropped off. This entire experience was defined by: - Repeated misinformation - Long delays without explanation - Poor or nonexistent communication - Unprofessional tone - Lost property - Damage to my vehicle I am profoundly disappointed. This service center failed at even the most basic level of customer care and accountability. If zero stars were an option, that is what this experience would warrant. I expect Tesla to take this complaint seriously and address both the lost key card and vehicle damage promptly.

Since the new staff came here, the service has went up 900 percent. Ask for Michael and you will be taken care of the way you deserved to be. I just wish they could keep staff longer than a month.
