Great experience. I needed to move up my appointment and they responded through the Tesla app quickly and accommodated my request for Saturday. Estimated time to complete service was spot on and their service center technicians were very polite.

Overall, I had a great experience with Tesla Service. Everything went smoothly, the process was easy, and I was very happy with the service. My only small suggestion would be that when a car is going through a full service, especially when things like the windshield wipers are being replaced, the windshield washer fluid should also be checked and topped off. Mine was low, and I had assumed that would be included as part of the overall service. Other than that minor detail, everything went great and I was very pleased with the experience!

I’ll admit, I was a little apprehensive coming into Tesla Service Duluth after reading some of the more recent reviews, especially after having to wait a while to get an appointment. My experience, however, could not have been better. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the contagious smile of Corey Benson, who immediately put me at ease. He was warm, friendly, engaging, and made me feel reassured from the start. While working with the next available service advisor, I mentioned some of my concerns about the reviews I’d read and the wait to get in. That’s when Jesus Pina, the Service Supervisor/Lead, introduced himself and assured me I was in good hands. From that point forward, Jesus provided what I can only describe as white-glove service. He arranged an FSD loaner, kept me updated daily on the status of my vehicle, and personally called me when the work was complete to walk through each issue and exactly how it had been resolved. What impressed me most was when I arrived to pick up my Tesla after they had already closed — Jesus personally came outside to meet me and make sure everything was good before I left. That kind of ownership and customer service doesn’t happen by accident. Jesus is clearly leading by example, and you can tell he’s making a real difference at this location. The entire team was engaged, accommodating, and focused on taking care of the customer. Yes, there may be a wait to get an appointment, but based on my experience, once you’re there, this team makes a genuine effort to accommodate you, prioritize your needs, and make the experience worthwhile. Great team, great communication, and outstanding service from beginning to end. If the recent reviews have you worried like they did me, don’t be. Give this team a chance.

My vehicle was left at 0% battery, and when I asked why it wasn’t charging so I could come pick it up, an advisor named Robert flat-out lied to me. He stated that my service invoice had to be paid before my vehicle would be allowed to charge. In reality, they had just physically unplugged my car from the charger, and it had absolutely nothing to do with the bill. The rest of the staff was just as frustrating to deal with. Adam abruptly shut down our chat after only two minutes of silence and when I got an active chat going again and told him it was unprofessional and I needed a tow he ignored me and I was left ignored for about 30 minutes, and Rachel was incredibly rude, condescending, and dismissive when pushing me to pick up the vehicle, when I didn't have a ride up to the center to come get the vehicle. Robert was the worst of the three, he kept threatening to tow my vehicle AFTER I gave him an eta because I was trying to find a ride up there. Robert then proceeds to lie about why my vehicle was still at 0% (it came to the center dead) the previous evening, Rachel told me to pay my supercharger fees because it was blocking my car fron charging. Robert lied and said that the vehicle wasn't charging because the service invoice wasn't paid when in reality my car was UNPLUGGED the entire time. Threatening to tow a customer's car while simultaneously keeping it at 0% and lying about why it isn't charging is unacceptable. While a service lead named Matt eventually apologized and corrected the issue, the front-line staff's lack of honesty and terrible communication completely ruined my experience. They have permanently lost my business. And I'm still debating if I want to escalate the issue to corporate because I've never dealt with such disrespectful (excluding Matt) service at Tesla before.

I had a pretty negative experience having my Model S serviced. I paid $2,000 for them to replace my AC compressor and a fuse, and another $380 to replace the driver window gasket. I was without my car for 7 days and was offered no loaner vehicle. I had to drive back because they forgot that they needed my key fob, after they told me they didn’t require it. I was called about 5-10 times during that week, usually for them to try to increase the price of the repairs which we had already agreed upon. I was addressed each time by the previous owner’s name and told that “it couldn’t be changed in their profile for that vehicle”. After having to threaten multiple times to cancel the entire service, they agreed to cover the additional charges ($130 to “adjust the driver window” which would have brought the gasket replacement cost to $510). After being quoted $800 to replace a back door latch, I canceled that part of the service. The app did not work correctly throughout the entire service appointment, so I was unable to see progress, approve estimates, etc. The automated phone system also didn’t function correctly, so it would allow me to press 1 for “cars”; but would ignore me when prompted to press 1 for service. Due to this; it failed to connect me with a human being every time I tried to call. My messages through the app were all ignored for the entire service call, and they left the dirty old part against my seat. Despite dropping the car off with almost a full charge, my battery was almost dead when I picked up my car to drive home. They also made one last attempt to charge me another $53 magical surprise additional fee at pickup. The final nail in the coffin was the $380 “new” plastic trim also surprisingly replaced the exterior black trim piece as well. They replaced it with chrome instead of black, which I will have to have painted. It was also installed misaligned, protruding, and the part was dented/damaged on the corner by the B-pillar door jam. That was my first and last experience with Tesla Duluth. Hands down, the worst service experience I’ve ever had. I still have them 2 stars because I’m hoping the AC repair was done well. I am massively disappointed in Tesla’s pricing and attention to detail, and pretty disappointed in their customer service (despite my rep being very nice and them ultimately good-willing the additional fees). As made apparent by their pricing, they give themselves much more credit than they deserve for their performance. Unless you love headaches, I would probably try to drive further to a different Tesla facility, or avoid Tesla altogether for non-warranty service.
