Tesla Service Plano-Lexington Drive

I called multiple times to reach the service department, but no one answered. I wasn’t even able to leave a voicemail either. I was simply trying to find out the cost of a pre-purchase inspection. It was disappointing that I couldn’t get such a basic question answered over the phone, especially since I didn’t want to make the drive just to ask about pricing. I don’t mind flipping the review if I can get a call back.

I scheduled and paid $364.25 for a pre-50,000-mile warranty inspection so I could identify any issues before my basic warranty expired. The technician's notes simply stated that a vehicle health check was completed and that no issues were found. While I'm glad my vehicle appears to be in good condition, I was surprised that this was the only documentation I received after paying nearly $400. There was no inspection checklist, no measurements, no photos, and no indication of what was actually inspected. When I asked my service advisor if there was a more detailed report, I was told there was "nothing to print." My concern isn't that nothing was found. My concern is that I have no way of knowing what was checked or what I received for the service I paid for. For a paid inspection, I expected documentation outlining the systems inspected and any observations or measurements, even if everything passed. I'm hoping Tesla can improve the transparency of this service. Customers should receive a detailed inspection report so they understand exactly what was inspected before their warranty expires.

Great service. This is my third time visiting this location and they have all been consistently positive experiences. Today ranks the top! I came to know that I need to be out of town , and the team took extra effort to get my car ready in time and get me out of there. Thank you so much for being professional and also kind humans!

I stopped by the Tesla location in Plano for their Christmas event and it was honestly a really fun, well-run experience. The showroom had a festive vibe without feeling chaotic—clean, bright, and organized, with plenty of space to walk around and check out the cars up close. They had snacks out (yes, I grabbed a cookie) and it felt more like a casual open house than a sales pitch. The team working the event was friendly and approachable. Every time I had a question—features, charging, range expectations, the differences between trims—they explained things clearly and didn’t talk down to you. I also appreciated that there was zero pressure. They let you explore at your own pace, open doors, sit inside, and play around with the screens (the in-car entertainment is wild… someone was literally playing chess on it). The highlight for me was getting to see a Model X with the falcon wing doors open in person pictures don’t do it justice. It was also cool to see families there; it felt welcoming and kid-friendly, not stuffy or exclusive. Overall, the Plano Tesla team put together a great holiday event: relaxed, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re curious about Tesla or just want a low-pressure way to check out the lineup, this is a great place to visit especially during events like this.
