Tesla Service San Diego-Miramar

I was quite worried when I noticed all four tires on my Tesla were in low pressure (since I had a flat tire four months ago). Unable to get a timely appointment on the App, I drove to the Tesla Service Center at Miramar after consulting with Tesla customer services. Alejandro greeted me onsite and reassured me he would do a thorough diagnosis which put me at ease immediately. After receiving a comprehensive examination on the tires, I was happy to have my car back with all four tires at the right pressure, tires wore evenly, windshield wiper fluid filled. Thank you Alejandro and the services team at Miramar!

TL;DR - avoid this place. They tried to charge me for an issue they caused while performing my in-warranty battery pack replacement. Save yourself the trouble and avoid the Miramar Tesla service center. I came in for an in-warranty battery replacement on my 2020 Model 3, and immediately when I picked up the car, a drive inverter error appeared on screen. I’ve never seen this error before. The service tech instinctively thought it was an air bubble in the coolant system which needs to be drained and then the coolant needs to be topped off. However, they discovered that the super bottle needed to be replaced. Note that the coolant system was functional before I dropped it off for the initial battery replacement service. They tried to charge me for this corrective service. Finally, after back-and-forth they fixed the issue at no cost. Overall, it just was not a pleasant experience, and it was ridiculous that I had to push back on them to fix an issue they had caused.

I did not get her name but I was helped by a short pretty possibly Latina woman when I returned my lease. She was great and made it so easy especially because I was so hungover. 10/10 would recommend!

Please consider opening a Tesla Service Center in Chula Vista. Current San Diego centers are too far for south bay residents. This would improve service access. Thank you

Avoid the Tesla service center at 9250 Trade Pl in San Diego. The app will give you a quote and then the service center will 2x the charge. I’ve been to other Tesla service centers and they have been great—this one is the worst.
