Tesla Service San Francisco-Van Ness

First, the customer service was wonderful. That would be 5 stars if I rated it separately. But the issue: I took my car to Tesla service because of rattling around the front left wheel. They inspected it and said they needed to replace 3 parts that would cost $6500 for parts and installation. I decided to pick my car up and take it to another service center for a second quote. But when I picked it up, the rattling was gone. I wrote to them afterwards and asked what they did. They just tightened all the bolts around the suspension and wheels. All it needed was bolts being tightened but they didn’t check that first before asking me to approve $6500 of additional work. So for that reason, I am really hesitant to ever return.

Poor service professionals. Sales team is good. 1. Lazy and do not care about their customers at the service center. Can’t give me a parcel shelf that was ordered because their parts guy is not in the office. 2. Lacked poor customer service at the service center when I brought in the car for a firmware issue that nuked the car when I first bought it last year. They initially accused me of causing the issue after purchasing the car for one week. They later apologized, I refused to pay anything for service. I also asked them to switch the car out as it was acting like a mellon after they gave it to me. After the fix they followed up for a trade in which I had repeat I did not want to do multiple times. Would recommend going here to buy the car if you live in sf. But not for service center needs.

Car under warranty, but no parts in stock, a week+ for them to arrive, no loaners.

I was disappointed with the service I received at this tire shop. I had an appointment for 2:15 PM, but after an hour and a half, they informed me that they had mistakenly ordered the wrong tires. However, my main issue was that they were unable to charge my car during the entire 4-hour wait. As a result, my car was left without a battery and without the correct tires. On a positive note, the lady who assisted me had excellent customer service and was very pleasant to work with. I can’t recall her name, but it’s worth mentioning that she was the reason this review is positive.
