I brought my Tesla Model X in for inspection because the driver seat cushion started cracking along the stitched edge. The vehicle is only three years old and has been used under normal driving conditions. Despite the relatively young age of the car, the service center classified the issue as “wear and tear” and denied warranty coverage without offering a meaningful review of the material defect concern. For a premium vehicle in this price range, interior materials should not deteriorate this quickly. I expected a more thorough evaluation and a more customer-oriented approach. Very disappointed with how this situation was handled.
