Tesla Service Sunnyvale

I brought my 2022 Tesla Model S (with only 29,000 miles) to this service center for a few specific issues, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. Because my vehicle is technically just past its 4-year warranty window, the service advisor completely resorted to an expensive "replace everything" approach rather than offering actual technical solutions. Yoke Steering Wheel: The material is experiencing severe peeling—a heavily documented Tesla factory defect. The advisor flatly refused to look into active service bulletins or review the case for low-mileage goodwill. Center Screen Display: The screen has a heavy yellowing border and light bleed caused by known adhesive degradation. Instead of offering the standard UV light curing treatment that Tesla specifically designed for this exact issue, I was told the only option was a full, high-cost screen replacement. Taillight: Again, rather than checking if the light was fully operational or if it could simply be resealed at a lower cost, the immediate answer was a full replacement quote. Being out of warranty shouldn't mean a customer receives a lower standard of care or basic diagnostic effort. Pushing for the most expensive, effortless fixes for known manufacturing defects is incredibly poor customer service. I expected a much more collaborative and professional experience.

I had an issue with my "windshield fluid low" since couple of weeks now. I never had to for a car service since I bought my model Y in Dec 2024. So I decided to just walk in to this service center. Tucker has well received me and immediately completed the service, I was out of this place in 5 minutes. It was a very good experience for a first timer in this location and the whole Tesla service experience.

HORRIBLE! Avoid this service center at all cost. First of all, they don't give loaner cars unless the service is more than a day. As a result, be prepare to wait the for a day. My windshield cracked from the edge of the windshield to center, and it's usually covered by the warranty. Not with this Tesla service center. What a rip off.

I have a pretty bad experience having my car to be serviced in this Tesla service center: I went to the service center in person and booked the service to be on 1/10 2:30pm. Until 1/9 I still received an in-app message from tesla telling me my appointment is happening at 1/10 2:30pm. While on 1/10 noon time when I checked my Tesla app, I surprisingly found my appointment became 1/15. It wasted my time checking all the previous communication history to see what's going on and I couldn't find a clue. I had to go to the service center and then found the supervisor of Amani changed it without notice me in the last minute. And I had to go to the service center the second time to drop off my car. I've never experienced a service like this from any business and I'm so surprised that Tesla as a big brand handles its customer like this. So DISPOINTED and FRUSTRATED!! This will definitely affect my decision of my next car after this leasing period ends.

Review for their mobile service: They came out and replaced a headlight. Much better than going to a dealer and getting a ride home and back. Couple parts left over for the shield under the car but he came back and put them in the next day.
