Tesla Service

We drove our Tesla from Gilbert, AZ, to drop our son off at college, and unfortunately, during the trip, our AC stopped working and our air filters needed to be replaced. Once we arrived at the service center, we were also informed that both of our front tires were in bad shape and needed to be replaced. Needless to say, we were incredibly grateful for the outstanding customer service we received from Elijah in the Service Department. He was absolutely wonderful—he got us in right away, kept everything moving smoothly, and made what could have been a very stressful situation completely seamless. There was also a woman in the showroom who was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but if you have questions about anything Tesla-related, she is your girl! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. From start to finish, everyone we interacted with was professional, kind, and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Tesla Service Center and especially want to give a huge shoutout to Elijah and the wonderful showroom staff. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

The Tesla service team in Tucson did a great job on my 2020 Model Y suspension replacements, alignment, and horn replacement. Yeah,…Tucson heat and horrible roads. The only improvements I have is give the military, veteran, and elderly discounts on parts. That would help us that have contributed to our nation’s freedoms and the retired elderly on fixed incomes while reducing the price. I hope Elon Musk will get this advice before I tour his facilities in Texas and Florida. My car drives great and I’m very happy with the results. I also like how repairs are tracked in the Tesla app so I can plan for future maintenance needs which are way less than combustion engines.

The Model Y battery gave notification that the car could not charge to its full potential. The car was still under warranty to have the battery replaced. We were given a Model X for a week. Nice!

I have owned four Tesla vehicles and have visited five different Tesla Service Centers, but my experience at the Tucson location has been the most disappointing by far. The level of service provided here is severely lacking in efficiency, and the staff seems uninformed about estimated service times. On multiple occasions, I have approved a quoted service charge, only to be shocked at pickup when the final bill was inflated by an astonishing 40%. Additionally, the personnel at the service desk exhibit a robotic demeanor, lacking any semblance of personality or basic customer service skills. This has made my interactions feel impersonal and frustrating. I often find myself opting to drive 2.5 hours to another service center rather than returning to the Tucson location, as I strive to avoid the negative experiences I’ve had there. Overall, I believe significant improvements are needed in both service efficiency and customer engagement at this particular center.

I took delivery of a new Model Y. I was in Houston for 8 weeks of medical treatment Mon through Fri each week. After placing an order prior to the federal tax credit lapsing on 30 September, I worked with the staff at the Tucson service center to allow me to pick up the car Sat afternoon. That allowed me to fly there Sat morning, take delivery, put the car safely in my home garage and catch an early flight back to Houston on Sunday morning. I didn't miss any of my medical appointments.
