Tijerina’s Auto Electric is by far now one of the worst Electrical Mechanic shops in Brownsville. They had my grandmothers car for over 5 weeks and could not get the car fixed. I gave clear a concise instructions to the owner Modesto Tijerina and his brother Rogelio and my request were bluntly ignored. He was very quick to cash the checks within hours after payment, then we had to take my grandmothers car to Pancho’s Auto Electric in Harlingen where we were informed that several wires were missing from the car as well as the alternator for which he charged both parts and labor was not replaced and instead an electric regulator was installed. For years they used to be good at what they did which was rebuild starters and alternators. Now that I have to pay the same amount to have my grandmothers car fixed elsewhere after Tijerina’s Auto Electric messed up, I would leave a “0” star review as this place is not the place to fix electrical issues on your vehicle.

Damn all this troubleshooting. Nobody could find the short .I took it to tijerinas.Roger or Rogelio overly confidently says your 3rd in line. Then I'll fix it don't how long but I'll fix it about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs after rogelio started it was done.just drove my truck from port Isabel tx to Rawlins Wyoming about 24 hr drive smooth sailing

These people had my car for 6 months and didn't fix anything. They gave my car back to me broken (things that were fine before taking it to them). They ignored my calls and just did me more damage. Do not go to these people..

Took my dad's car and it stayed there overnight...The mechanic didn't do anything and requested $60 because he just "looked" at it :/ Now I know better. He was nice and he still recommended another place to go to fix the issue. I give him that.
