I took my 1 1/2 hp pool pump motor to get repaired by them. I told them the last time I had it repaired the charge was $150. So I said just go ahead and fix it again. I got a phone call from them telling me the motor was no good and needed to be replaced. They quoted me a price of $650. I told them not to repair it. Went to pick up my pool pump and they charged me $37.50 for diagnosis and hand me my pool pump in pieces. I would have thought the motor would have been returned to me in the same shape I gave it to them. Very disappointed. Oh by the way a new motor on the internet sells for $250.

I had a 220v 5hp motor stop working on my air compressor which is at my home but gets used a lot. I took it to another local shop and because of the size of the motor they recommended Wheeler. Because I work out of state my wife took it to wheeler for diagnosis and repair. After they looked at it I was told it would be more cost effective to purchase a new motoe for $950. I didn't want to spend that so they convinced my wife to purchase a rebuilt one they had for $400. My son installed the motor as I was out of town. Turns out that the motor spins way to fast and trips the breaker. We called them and they said we could return it with no issues. By the time I was able to get it removed and returned it had been almost 3 weeks broken. I took the motor back myself and they said that it was their mistake and that they had another that he had rebuilt and he knew for sure it would be no problem for another $200. So my son installs that and I got home just in time for the first start up. It would not start up. Made a bad growling noise and tripped the breaker. My wife called them and they said that they would take it back after he checked that we had not "dropped" it. Lol. In the end we bought a brand new motor for $500 and it was on my door step in 3 days and worked perfectly straight out of the box. Moral of the story is don't waste a month of down time on this guy. Just Google it and be done.

These guys are fantastic! Brought in a table saw motor for diagnosis. When the manufacturer agreed to send me a new motor they waived the fee for diagnosis because I gave them the old motor that I had absolutely no use for. And on top of that they went out of their way to show me how to rewire the new motor for 230V operation instead of 115V. Above and beyond as far as I'm concerned!

Fair and honest people. I went to them to get a hardbto find motor repaired and cost was less of an issue than time. Although they were very capable of the job I wanted done, they helped me to find a faster and more affordable option. I have had motors repaired here before and every one of them has worked perfectly with never a single issue. Highly recomended
