Toyota Tacoma was supposed to be done May 29th. Classic Collision continually pushed back the date it would be ready days before we were going to pick it up. Finally went in to pick and THEY ORDERED THE WRONG BUMPER and so when we went to pick it up THE BROKEN BUMPER WAS STILL ON THE CAR. They have had that truck for a month and a half and yet they somehow didn’t even look at it until two days ago??? They were paid to fix that truck and they failed to do their job. If you want your car repaired in an even remotely timely manner, do not go to Classic Collisions.

This was my second time getting my car serviced with this company. The first time was at a different location, my experience there wasn't great, it was just meh. The reason I felt that was because going in, aside from the damage due to an attempted theft, my car ran great, no issues. Got it back and a few buttons on my steering wheel was popped out of place and I couldn't pop it back in. Oh and my AC blew hot air. We normally don't use the AC in Alaska but this day was hot enough we rather use the AC than deal with the dirt in the air. Called them, they got it fixed, almost another week in the shop. I can see how inconvenient this would be for someone who has only 1 vehicle. This time I used this location to fix damage done by a snow plower, which took about 2 weeks to fix. Upon surrendering your vehicle, they want you to make sure you have gas in the vehicle. We just got back into town so I needed to fill up and left them with a full tank of gas. I never look at the details as far as mileage goes and it's sad to say this is something we all should. I was about to throw out the copy of the invoice when I noticed they drove 79 miles. Anchorage is not very big, not sure where their shop is to fix dents and scratches but I'd assume it would be in town. Where do they need to drive 79 miles or let's say 40 miles each way for? I live 1.3 miles away, our church is about 6 miles away on the other side of town, so 12 miles round-trip. Eagle River is about 15 miles away outside of Anchorage. So again, where do they need to drive 79 miles on MY tab for a service that they are being PAID for? I'm beyond disappointed and based on my overall experience, I wouldn't use this company again nor would I recommend them.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this shop. I brought in my truck for repairs through USAA insurance, and it was returned to me in worse condition than when I dropped it off. Most concerning, my passenger window now has a significant crack that was not present prior to service. The shop claims there was a pre-existing “chip,” but the documentation they provided does not clearly show this, and the location does not align with the current damage. Even my insurance adjuster noted that the supposed chip is not visible in their photos. In addition to the window issue, I’ve had multiple concerns with the quality of repairs. I was under the impression that certain parts would be replaced, but it appears they were only attempted to buff and repaint. Since getting my vehicle back, my windshield wiper fluid dispenser is no longer working, and the vehicle does not feel right when turning left. When I raised the specific concern about the window which I noticed first, I was told I would need to pay out of pocket to fix the window, which I do not believe is appropriate given the circumstances. My truck is barely a year old, new not used, and I trusted this shop—especially as a USAA-recommended provider. Unfortunately, this experience has been frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. I initially gave this place 5-stars because of customer service, but I was deceived. I would strongly encourage others to carefully review their vehicle before and after service, matter of fact, don't take your vehicle here. See the other negative reviews as well, very concerning.

Excellent communication from start to finish. The team at Classic Collision truly cares about you, your time, and your family. They committed to bi-weekly updates and followed through every time. Responses were always quick, friendly, and professional. They set clear expectations for the timeline and actually completed the work 10 days sooner than expected, which was a huge bonus. Everything was transparent throughout the process, which made a stressful situation so much easier. They even went above and beyond by vacuuming my rental and returning it for me so I didn’t have to deal with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I would absolutely recommend them and will be going back for any future collision needs.

I brought my F-150 to Classic Collision on Gambell for rear body repairs, and the results have been disappointing. The paint on the repaired area is already bubbling, indicating poor surface preparation. The topper’s brake light now stays on continuously due to incorrect wiring during reassembly. The tailgate bumper was left detached. The license plate lights were not reconnected, creating a safety and compliance issue. I expected professional work, but instead I’m left with multiple defects that need to be corrected. I have contacted the shop to request warranty repairs and hope they will take responsibility and fix these issues promptly. Until then, I cannot recommend this location based on my experience. If you use them, inspect your vehicle carefully before leaving.
