Glass America - Auto Glass & Windshield Replacement

Glass America came out on time and did a professional job on my truck. No leaks and it is crystal clear!! The technician that came out was very knowledgeable and polite. He got right to it and had the new windshield installed in less than an hour. Thank you Glass America for an awesome experience

I called to make an appointment after having been failed by Safelite. It was after 5 pm on Thursday for an appointment Friday. I know that is a tight window but its the fact the clerk told me they would absolutely make it work. The clerk was so friendly and reassuring that I would get this appointment. He told me they had my glass in stock so it was no problem. I got the quote and was told they would call me the next day with a 2 hour window in which the technician would show up. If I hadn't heard by 10 am I was instructed to call because everyone should get their call before then. Friday comes and I am waiting with no call. 10:30 approaches and I decided to call them to see what was going on. It was a different clerk and she said she was going to call the tech to see what was going on. After speaking to the clerk she told me they were simply not coming. Because my appointment was booked after 5pm on Thursday they had no intentions of coming. She explained that the glass comes from a warehouse 2-3 hours away and they wont deliver during the day. So essentially I was yet again screwed. I was upset being the clerk from Thursday night had reassured that they would come out and it was absolutely no issue. If this had been communicated on the phone I would've never scheduled and trusted them to pull through. I think their staff needs better training on scheduling and communication. I wonder if I was never to call if they would've even reached out to let me know they had no intentions of showing up. I ended up going with a different local company and I would HIGHLY recommend them. The company is NCF Auto Glass Newberry. They called me 5 minutes after they opened and were extremely communicative all day about arrival. The estimates were the same from both companies so if you want a company who cares and will show up NCF is where to go.

The two technicians that replaced the windshield on my car were fast, efficient, and super friendly. This company is very convenient to use as they came to my house and installed a new windshield within an hour or less. The whole process was smooth from filling my claim, setting the appointment and having my replacement completed I can’t recommend this company enough!!

The guys at Glass America on Shavano Oak in San Antonio were very professional and the best at what they do. They replaced our front windshield which had to be calibrated for lane departure in a little over an hour. All of this for a fraction of the cost we would have had to pay another company. Highly recommended!
