Glass America

Glass America reached out within 24 hours of filing a claim with my insurance. The woman on the phone was very kind and had openings right away. The guy I spoke with when I dropped my car off was also very polite and welcoming. He explained he would be on the road when I wanted to come back to pick it up, but that he could leave my keys with the auto shop next door. About an hour later, they left me a voicemail saying my car was done and gave me some instructions. I picked up my keys from next door and went on my way. Super easy process, would definitely return here!

We used glass America and couldn't be happier. The service was outstanding. From the Scheduling right through to the replacement. The woman on the phone was very helpful. I called on a Wednesday and if not for having to order the window, which came in the next day, they would have been out to replace it the same day. They came out the next day. We actually had to change the location and they had no problem with that. The technician, Bob, did an excellent job. Customer service was awesome. The price was also great especially for them coming out to us.

The Glass America windshield installation onto my ford explorer seemed to be a pretty straightforward process. The installer told me how long it would take and what was involved. He installed the windshield in his installation bay while I waited. It was 7:45 am on a Saturday morning, but he was in pretty good spirits and that made me feel even more confident that I was going to get his best work. In the end I feel that I did get his best work and a really nice windshield. He had removed a recently installed Ford OEM that met its demise by a wayward object that caused it to literally crack from a seemingly pin head sized hit near the edge. This new windshield is an after market AS1 type and I like it better than the former which had a hard to remove film I was still struggling with. This one was silky smooth on the outside surface and showed no aberrations. By 9:00 am I was already on my way home. I have no doubts about my windshield installer’s skills after I saw the completed work. Can't lie here, I was put off with my scheduled appt at the shop, I took time off of work to have my truck windshield repaired only to be told when I arrived that the wrong glass had been ordered and could not proceed with the work. The tech did come out to my residence the next day to repair it but I still lost time and money in this deal. I can say I have used glass America before and have been satisfied, the recent repair was done satisfactory too. Perhaps a change in questions while setting up the appt is in need so this doesn't occur again. I still will use Glass America with any future needs.

Great experience at Glass America! Scheduling was easy. I made one appt then the crack got worse so I had to call back and ask if they could get me in the next day. They got me in no problem. The price was actually less than they quoted me and they did everything to spec including the calibration. I highly recommend Glass America. They took care of something that was a total nuisance seamlessly and I am truly grateful. The tech was patient and professional. He did what he said he was going to when he said he was going to do it. No time wasted. I really appreciated that especially in a world where that type of work ethic is rare these days.
