The staff is friendly, efficient, and the calibration was performed in a professional manner. The facility was clean, well organized, and the owner took the time to explain the process. Along with the items mentioned above, the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this business.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff! They helped with programming replacement headlights using OEM grade equipment and software. Highly recommend them for all of your vehicle diagnostics and computer programming. The shop and equipment was very clean and organized. Great people and service.

I called and got a clear, friendly explanation right away, and they were able to book me for same-day camera calibration on my Acura. The whole process took about an hour, and I left with a fully calibrated system for a fraction of what the dealer wanted to charge. Fantastic service, great people—can’t recommend them enough.

I don't write many reviews but sometimes they're earned. I needed to replace the front distance sensor on our Porsche Taycan, which controls adaptive cruise control. The sensor was replaced and commissioned, but it still needed to be calibrated to the vehicle. For the better part of a week, I searched for a calibration company in Northern Virginia that would work directly with retail customers, not just repair facilities or body shops, and came up empty. I called several places. Some would not work on a Porsche, treating it like it was made of black magic. Others refused to deal directly with customers, which must be nice. I emailed a few shops and never received a response. Even those that claimed to prefer text messages never replied. The one shop I found that was responsive was based in Raleigh. They were communicative and willing to work with me, but they were several hours away. I was just about ready to drive to North Carolina to get this done when I decided to make one last call. That call was to Paula at NuTech. Paula told me to go online and book an appointment and said that Kris would call to go over the details. To my surprise, they had same-day availability. I booked the next available slot at 3:00 p.m. About fifteen minutes before 2:00 p.m., right around the time I needed to get on the road, Kris called. I was fully prepared for the usual outcome, that they would not work on my car or would not deal with retail customers. Instead, Kris was upbeat and immediately put me at ease. He confirmed they could absolutely calibrate the sensor and that one of his technicians, Rusty, would be available to handle it. I made the hour drive down to Henrico. Rusty greeted me when I arrived, got me settled in the waiting area, and got to work right away. About ten minutes later, Kris arrived, introduced himself, and jumped in to help. About fifteen minutes after that, Paula arrived with their daughter, who is studying to be a nurse practitioner. That was the moment it really clicked that this is a small, family-owned business, which was both reassuring and refreshing. Less than fifteen minutes later, Kris gave me the thumbs up and started pulling together the paperwork. I was in and out in about an hour. They saved me a multi-hour drive to North Carolina or a trip up to Maryland just to get a sensor calibrated. The price was more than reasonable, especially considering that some dealerships quoted well over $1,500 for calibration. They did not take advantage of me or profile me based on the type of car I own. I honestly wish this were something I needed more than once, because I would go back every time. NuTech is exactly the kind of company that earns my business, and it is the kind of company other repair and body shops should be partnering with. They are communicative, friendly, efficient, and available. We need more NuTechs in the world. Thank you, Paula, Kris, and Rusty. And Kris and Paula, tell your daughter to hang in there. She will be done with school before she knows it, and that education will prepare her and pay dividends for years to come.
